I love that you showed the truth of the long travel days and the exhaustion you feel, even when you are excited and getting along fine. Your pizza and beers at the end is so perfect.

Hey guys, it’s really great to see you guys back. Your videos are informative and entertaining. Went to Sicily about 6 months ago. Your vid’s were really helpful. After coming back I rewatch the vids. Brings back the great memories from our family trip there.

Thank goodness you got to sit together. Worst part of traveling is getting there in our opinion. How tall are you too? We are tall so never have enough leg room. What a mess to get to the bus. That would have been so hard for me, and then you had to stand! We’re a lot older than you “kids”, so probably wouldn’t attempt such a trip anymore. Love the color of your new luggage. Looking forward to your upcoming videos.

Glad you made it back to Italy! ☺️ As someone who also lives in another country than their family, sometimes you really need the extended family time back home ☺️ I am glad you had fun! We recently (early september) went to Firenze, Pisa and Bologna! We watched all of your videos to prepare and did a lot of your recommended activities, so thank you! (Climbed the Duomo cupola and the Bell tower in Firenze and the tower of Pisa 👍) When we arrived at Bologna airport the Marconi express aslo was not going and it was utter chaos! Especially at the busses and taxis 😱 We managed to get a seat on the local bus to Firenze 4hrs later 😑 Anyway, we had a wonderful trip regardless! ☺️ Looking forward to your further adventures.

Yay, great to see you guys back and heading back to Italy. Can't wait to see what you'll share. Do you pay extra to enter the lounge at Dubai or is it part of a frequent flyer program or something? I flew through Dubai on my visit to Italy this year and didn't think I could go to any of the lounges, but I'd love to know how to do this for my trip next year. 12 + hours to/from Australia to Dubai is brutal, so a lounge is needed 😩 Oooh, train travel in Italy. I loved it, so easy, so convenient, got me almost everywhere I needed to go. I miss it so much. But, stairs only in train stations suck! I also remember Bologna train station being a bit of a challenge...

Ichnusa is the old greek (and Phoenix) name of Sardinia and it means foot step, since the shape of the island reminds of it.

Hey Micha - I saw that you used the EU Passport line when entering Italy. Do you now have an Italian passport also? Or as the spouse of an Italian citizen, do you get to use the EU Passport line even though you only have a US passport?

The train ticket validation seems like an italian railways preposterous protocol: you've already bought the ticket, the CC payment is already in the pipeline, the railways will get their payment, and you can't go back, so validating electronically does not change anything. Validating or 'punching' the paper ticket does not change anything either and does not actually ensure that the purchaser of the ticket will not use it again: the ticket has a destination, a time code and a date code, so you can't use it for other trips. Who's running the railways in Italy? Children!? Bambini!:-))))
@pile333 Жыл бұрын
Ok, I think you're now pretty accustomed to jet lag but I wonder how you are used to face it while traveling so much through so many continents.
@DB_Craft_872 Жыл бұрын
Can you write under my comment the ranking of the Italian regions you have visited🤔
@randykirby2326 Жыл бұрын
I heard that for regional trains, you now have to validate your ticket. Thanks for explaining that. Is that only with the app? I like ordering my tickets ahead of time online and I like to print them out on paper. Will those printed tickets still already be validated as before (since I will be buying them online)? If not, how do you validate a ticket printed on a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper? Also, as far as I'm concerned, Lucca has the worst train station in Italy. Not enough signs there to direct you and I saw no sign there when the train arrived that said Lucca. And coming in second is Bologna Centrale. Definitely hard to get around. I too had problems using an elevator. Instead, use le scale mobile (the escalators).
@casa909 Жыл бұрын
The issue with the Bologna train station is that it's too large
@francescofilippi2824 Жыл бұрын
Lucca train station is simple and straightforward are you kidding
@randykirby2326 Жыл бұрын
Yes, it's a simple station. But, they need more signs to easily direct you to the stairs, for what exit is for what, more track number signs and signs that stand out saying Lucca when your train arrives at the station. You can miss your stop if wearing headphones or earbuds and can't hear the arrival announcement. A number of us at the station were confused. They just need more signs. @@francescofilippi2824

When speaking about Dubai, sorry you seemed to have attitude.! You made such little clips almost nothing..! Dubai VIP lounge has so much to cover let alone the airport itself. I just felt you wasn't really bothered… Dubai is something you all would ABSOLUTELY FALL IN LOVE WITH check it out..! Love Dubai she had so much to cover but deliberately did not!!! It’s a shame how people pick and choose what to tell! Yes, it’s hot but air cons are even running in bus stops, malls, restrooms, train station waiting area!! They have the best technology it will shock you..! Western countries sadly have fallen back in the past while the middle east has boomed its technology and the luxuriously hotels to mall are so beautiful.she did not make a longer video on the airport you would have got shocked! It’s amazing … a true adventure going to Dubai x

I’ve been watching QVC since in the 80’s when it started. It’s gotten really boring with their products. Prices have gotten too high for clothing. Used to be known as great prices for quality clothing. The new hosts are too cutesy and annoying. I hardly buy anything from QVC anymore.
