Yeah I vote to keep as much as your comfortable in these vlogs. Picking up trash may only be a snippet but it raises awareness and hopefully others who don’t, will start too. I think content wise, I’ve seen a lot of KZbinrs struggle overtime because they think they have to keep topping content and providing more of what they think people want to see. But I think people lose sight of the fact that you guys simply become the content people come for. Not in a pressured creepy way. Yes sailing, (or whatever core channel theme a channel has) but lifestyle in general covers a lot. People love to chill and watch cool people doing cool shit. It makes me happy seeing guys living this way. Seeing you guys live your life the way you do is interesting to those of us stuck in ‘traditional’ lifestyles. It’s an escape. But as us viewers get to you know you through what you and other channels share, there’s an appreciation for just virtually chilling with ya! Whatever that entails. YEEEEW!

A handy tip when you hit bottom is to push your boom out and hang off it or sit on it, making the boat heel and motor off, also you'll need a shipload of bushman's at steinglitz! You guys are funny. Nice work on the garbage content. Not nearly as boring as drone footage or snorkelling montages, and the comedy bits are good value. I heaps love a cruiser and some tomatoes on a beach but I’d never leave my trash. Next time you hit a sand bar remember that you can reduce your draft by heeling the boat. There are many ways to get off, all very specific to the individual conditions, but you should be able to get yourselves off without paying for it, of sandbars. Kedging with a halyard lifting up your anchor line is a good one for some pulling and heeling action at the same time. Thank you for the quality videos and good luck on your adventures!

Really cool how the tender folds up. And interesting to learn there is a rescue service that can help with things like getting stuck on a sand bar. These are the things about living and sailing a large boat that are interesting to learn. It would be great if you can include that sort of stuff in your videos (I mentioned this on your first vid). Extremely sad that people cannot clean up after themselves. Great that you highlighted the problem. If everybody ignores it, then it continues (and is likely to get worse).

Hey you two! ... new here, YT suggested you, have watched all of your vids to date and love your attitudes and the exclusion of the drama thing, rather the "there are just solutions" making you problem solvers rather than being on the slippery slope of doom and gloom .... Yes show the picking up of plastic and placing in bin, maybe speed those segments up sometimes. But never belittle the fact that you are picking up. There is a stigma about picking garbage and those that see you doing it may be swayed to also join in. I am in the camp of plastic is a good thing, the problem is where it goes after use of which the first step is disposing of properly and not doing the I am finished with it, hand opens and it is dropped and no longer my concern attitude. Don't get me wrong, this goes for all garbage and the "you take it in, you take it out" is paramount. .... lucky Dude getting a pedi .... Like having my feet touched, not sure if this has some relation to the pressure points in our feet that are used in reflexology. Foot massages are also way cool .... may want to look into how to connect hashtags to your vids, all about driving traffic .... thx for the share Phoebe & Josh .. as always .. never stop dreaming, ust dream bigger .. have fin be safe, save our ocean .... There is so much trash and it seems to be so widely distributed that it got me thinking with the result that it occurred to me to ask is this all domestically produced or could there be another source in addition to ourselves? This led me to the only other source that I can think of at the moment viz. offshore shipping? There is a continuous convoy of international shipping running up and down our Eastern Seaboard and is anyone keeping a sharp eye on it? That would have to be a high intensity operation so I doubt it. So this probably leaves us reliant on the goodwill of overseas shipping companies...hmmn.

There's heaps of us around! It's heartwarming for us to see :) We actually love our Portabote! We had a poly tender previously which didn't serve us well. The portabote folds up into a single plank which can be easily stowed by the handrails, so it doesn't take up too much with the limited deck space we have. It's also incredibly buoyant and durable - we did a grocery run with over 40kg of groceries, 2 fold up bikes, the body weight of both of us and our outboard in a strong southerly with lots of chop, and it managed really well. Pro's and con's for most tenders, but for as long as we're on this boat we're going to have something that takes up minimal space. And we love our sugar scoop so davits aren't an option. Thanks for your comment, mate! We always appreciate input from viewers :)
