If I ever go sailing, I know it will be on a catamaran. But man! Every time I see Wolfhound, I know what real love means! This is truly the most beautiful boat on this planet!!!

It is really a magnificent ship. WE too feel the same, we love our boat and love the cats, but man... the Wolfhound is pretty spectacular!

Hmmm!? You "Didn't "wash the the bottom of the boat when you hauled out!!?? Thats going to be fun when you get back. Lol. Great video. Thank you again for the video. Looking forward to seeing some of the crossing. Until next time. Aloha and Mahalo from the Big Island 🏝of Hawaii 🏝
@WEsail3 жыл бұрын
Hey Bill! Aloha. We didn’t wash it but the yard went and chipped away at it while we were gone. It’s pretty affordable to have the workers down here do that.

@@WEsail Ooo! Cool. Just when I saw that, All I could think of was you was going to have some Very Hard Work ahead of you. 😆🤣😂 I hope all is good. I am just sitting here on the lanai watching the stars reflecting off the ocean and wandering where ya'll are at. Thanks for getting back to me. Until next week (or sooner) Aloha and Mahalo from the Big Island 🏝

"Cule" is the brand name for a New Zealand manufactured range of hatches--the alloy extrusion encloses the "glass" so that that pealing away thing could not happen..
@douglasmontgomery63153 жыл бұрын
Since the boat is going to be on the hard. Wouldn't it be better to remove the inpellar as you did and then wait till you get back to install? Thanks for the video

Completely thought that black case said “Share Your Weed”. I had to go back and check. 😂. You should change it.

Should have used "Cule" hatches, especially that close to the waterline !!!

I have a question. When storing your boat for a long period of time, would it help to have a de-humidifier plugged in all the time to keep mold and such from growing? I realize you could only run it off of solar as the engines will not be started.
@WEsail3 жыл бұрын
Yes actually we have heard of people doing that to help with the humidity for sure. Here in Mexico, as far as here in San Carlos, it's humid but not nearly as bad as if we would be in Puerto Vallarta. It is a good idea, so the major thing with a dehumidifier is not really keeping it running, but dumping the moisture that does get collected during that time.

We did later actually the guys in the yard did it. It’s pretty affordable to hire work to be done in Mexico.

I haven't been to San Carlos in about 4 years. I don't recognize that boat yard. Where was it?
@WEsail3 жыл бұрын
We ended up having to haul out in Guaymas, San Carlos only will haul out smaller monohauls. We went to Marina Guayamas in Gabrielles yard.
@JimJNebraska3 жыл бұрын
@@WEsail Oh I didn't know there was 2 Yards in Guaymas. Can I ask, what's the monthly cost there? Or did you say that in the video?
@paultabone20103 жыл бұрын
Love this Episode 🦋🍷😃 I was just wondering can people brake in to your boat ⛵️ from the bottom hatch, or can you lock it from the inside. 🤷♂️⛵️🦋😃👍🇦🇺🇺🇸🇦🇺🇺🇸
@WEsail3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much glad you enjoy the show. Actually no, there is a bar that’s installed to prevent from breaking in from the outside actually
@amccann993 жыл бұрын
What's the cost per month to keep a boat like yours there?
@WEsail3 жыл бұрын
We spent about $350-400 per month on the hard in Guayamas.

I believe so. It's ben over a two months sents they stayed with us here on the Big Island of Hawaii. They only stayed the one night and had to move on. They had a short time here before they was to go to next Island. So I believe in about 23 to 28 days from now they will be back on the mainland. Ether Washington or Oregon. Then back down to their boat 🚢 in Mexico 🇲🇽.
