Especially the ladies who recently got married and are struggling or having an issue balancing both work, being a wife and motherhood. Congratulations on your new baby, Sonya! I kept my most recent pregnancy quiet as well. Having dealt with miscarriage in the past, I'm not in the habit of announcing pregnancy until I clear the 3 month mark. Unfortunately, with my most recent pregnancy, I developed a previously unforeseen complication that resulted in me having to deliver 2 weeks early, but we both made it through that situation just fine, thank God. I'm excited to see what you choose to share with us! Love and blessings to you all!

Yes! Sharing after loss is so hard! I already had a healthy baby after my 2 miscarriages, but I'm still debating if I should tell my mom this weekend when she'll be visiting cuz I'll only be 11 weeks...

I had a hunch since before you started showing that you were pregnant again, but I never like to assume (I've strangely had this hunch with a few other people too, but never with someone on KZbin, haha! Congratulations! I am so happy for you and your whole family. I never wanted to find out about the sex of any of my 5 children either. I'm like your husband, I guess. I loved the surprise at the end. I too was a full-time RN working mostly 12-hour shifts in adult and neonatal critical care over the years. My husband is a corporate jet pilot. He was away a LOT so I managed my very heavy job and my 5 children's schedules myself. Organization was key, as you say. It was all doable by knowing that I chose my life's path and my family, so I chose the responsibility, and I wouldn't have traded any of it for an easier life. Our children have grown up to be responsible and productive, marrying great partners and giving us many grandchildren. I retired recently and am now enjoying the lack of a routine to a degree. I do kind of feel like a fish out of water! lol. Again, congratulations to you and your beautiful family!
