I know this is Pablo's last ride, but if you want to get rid of any fears he has, Pablo could "Bask In Horse Bravery" and it clears ALL fears from the sim. You need to be good friends with the horse to get it to work but it's a great way to clear out fears.

For your question about "Vault time", there was an interesting experiment where a man locked himself in a room with no windows or clocks for a month to test that. He had plenty of supplies and stuff to do, he ate and slept when he needed to, and somehow recorded what he did and when. By the end of the month, his circadian rhythm adjusted to a 25 hour day.

This is interesting. There was an Antarctic study done where they removed time from them during winter. They also moved to a 25 hour day. They slept more, worked less and got more done.

Cuz personally I've always said I'd be happy with a 25 or even 26 hour day, if I actually get a full 8h of sleep (ha as if) then I'm good for more than the 16h left in a normal day...which ofc means with a 24h clock I'd be awake too long and therefore under-rested the next day 😑

Regarding "underground time zones", in the Metro book/game series, clocks and watches are treated with almost religious reverence because they're what keeps civilization from devolving into utter chaos. Besides, they have people who go above-ground to scavenge, so they need to know what time it is for it to be safe (it should be nighttime since sunlight blinds and even kills people). Tip for getting sims to seat at the same table: With Parenthood, you can 'set the table' and your sims will all seat at that particular table as long as there are enough seats. Also, for some reason, sims can't seat and eat at spots where the table centerpiece is placed.

Yes, this! I hate that so many of the items to put on a dining table interfere with eating at those seats, it drives me up a wall. If they can't set the table at that seat, the sims can't eat at it either.

The daughter should definitely be the next main character. She was adopted and raised on a commune, where everybody she knew was either family or a servant. Her only friends were her father and her horse. Her father went mad and became a doomsday prepper, even going so far as to prepare an underground vault apartment for her for when she grows up. I'm excited to see how she breaks free of a situation that is clearly at the very least a proto-cult, and how it will affect her relationships in the future.

This is probably not gonna be read by anyone but when you mentioned Island Paradise it brought back so many feelings, that's the most nostalgic Sims 3 expansion pack for me, as it was the last full series by a youtuber called Miss Gerbit. She was a mexican youtuber who sadly passed away on Dec 3rd 2013, and every time i think of that pack i remember watching her let's play for it as a kid very fondly. It was also around that time I started navigating the english speaking side of youtube, with Into the Future being the first let's play i saw of you! Also the pack was just awesome i remember loving the boat/houses soooo much, and at the time island paradise would remind me of sims 2 castaway!

To answer your question James, about the Vault time stuff, yes it is synced to the outside world. At least until the device breaks then the vault has its own time. In the Fallout universe the Pipboys are synced to the outside time Stupidest example, but in Fallout 76 when you create your character in the vault, the message board saying good morning, evening afternoon etc, is accurate to the time in game if you compare it to the in game time in your Pipboy.

So, apparently, "banquet" and "banquette" mean different things (I thought it might've been regional spelling differences, but nope!). In this case, "banquet" is the spelling you'd want, meaning a large elaborate/fancy meal. In contrast, "banquette" is an upholstered bench along a wall, especially in a restaurant, or a raised step behind a rampart. They're also pronounced differently (banquet = bAng-kwit or bAng-kwet vs. banquette = bang-ket with a soft "A" sound, given it's from French). 1:10:43 There was an experiment some time ago where people lived underground for some time without knowing the actual time. If I remember correctly they discovered that the people ended up on a sleep cycle that was slightly faster than normal so eventuell they would have their ’night’ in the middle of the day. I believe the explanation for this is the fact that the Earth spun faster ages ago due to the whole getting hit by another ball of flaming lava. I loved island paradise, but it just never worked well, the lag, the crashing…it was painful. Houseboats were my absolute favorite. Also…. Aluna Island. 😂 I really enjoyed that series.

I dont think distance for the horse ball matters, as my horse NEVER autonomously uses the ball, even when he's right next to it! Made horses super tedious as their needs were always bad since they refused to eat, drink, and play on their own. All they'd do is run around in circles and sleep. And yes, I had autonomy on full. I never turn it off.

Fun English language fact: "Wherefore" isn't another word for "where." It means "for what reason" or "as a result of which." So, when Juliet says, "Wherefore art thou Romeo," she's actually saying, "Why are you Romeo" - as in, "Why do you have to be Romeo of the Montague family, enemy of my family?" Also, note the lack of a comma before Romeo's name in the above quote. If "wherefore" meant "where," then there would have to be a comma before the name/oject of the question. Given there's no comma, that's a grammatical hint that "wherefore" doesn't mean "where" and instead means "why." :)

I think the hall should be shared space and come from the community money lol. Also to save tiles maybe the horse pasture could be shared.

James aging himself talking about plasma TVs, my parents still have theirs, not “smart” tv… and it produces so much heat. It does however still look very very good with HD … but it’s not 4k
