Hi guys 👋 another lovely video and can't wait to see your adventures in Albania. Love Lisa's positivity in the cabin, we're learning quickly to look for the positives even if everything isn't perfect! Safe travels and keep making these lovely vids ❤

Thank you! You'll quickly learn that with "vanlife" everything is a compromise! But with that comes great appreciation for the little things 😊

Nice video. Enjoyed seeing old town where I stay when visiting family. Market place is hopping in morning 😁. Hello from New York 👋

We're on the road again.... I always love Ferries, they are usually quite interesting places. I'm always fascinated by these truckers who spend so much time on them. Now that I couldn't do... Safe trip guys. Looking forward to seeing what Albania has to offer.

It's the fact that it's an overnight ferry that we weren't that keen on. Such a hassle to "move out" of Milli for 1 night and you don't get to really see or appreciate the actual ferry or trip. But then again, at least there's less chance of getting seasick (which we both struggle with)! 😜

Just found your channel and wanted to say a big thank you for the videos. Really great information. My wife and I have just stared housesitting through Europe (we are Aussies based in Portugal) and thinking of getting a motor home to make this a permanent lifestyle for a few years. Thanks again.
@WeWillNomad Жыл бұрын
Glad you found our videos useful! We also do the odd house sit (maybe one a year) and find it to be a good break from living in the motorhome. Full time motorhome life has its ups and downs, but it is a great way to see more of Europe in an affordable way - as long as you don't move too fast! All the best with your plans!

That was a very enjoyable video. But please, could you do a full video explaining what everything was in that pastry shop please. It looked scrumptuous but I have no idea what most of the things were. And lets keep it short to a one hour video please.
@WeWillNomad Жыл бұрын
🤣🤣 One hour video of us tasting pastries... that definitely sounds like our kind of video! 😝 😍
@cpppq Жыл бұрын
@@WeWillNomad Yes, I am totally aware that it will be a struggle, but we on this side of the screen are completely depending on you. So, your mission should you chose to accept it is .......... a one hour video on what was in that pastry shop cabinet.

So good to see that last gelato and you both enjoying it! We've been through the Netherlands and currently in Belgium, can you believe it, you can't buy a waffle before 2.00pm! 24 beers for €8 in Aldi so I'm happy

😵 That's cheaper than Albania! So beer early and only later waffles! 😜 Enjoy Belgium!

Enjoy guys! How exciting! 🤩 What the kind of cost for this route?
@WeWillNomad Жыл бұрын
Hello! It is quite expensive and there are a few options depending on the room you choose and the size of the vehicle. We paid 65 EUR per person plus 130 EUR for the motorhome. 😊

Quite good to get you to Albany! 🙌 thanks

By the way, that motorhome toilet replacement job you guys did - no way! - we use bags only and bottles - nothing to empty or clean later!
@WeWillNomad Жыл бұрын
🤣 We are so happy with it! Pretty much the glorified version of bags and bottles but so much better than the casette. We're really seeing the benefits of being self sufficient here in Albania.

Hi Andre and Lisa. My wife and I (Irish) live in Valencia. We've very much enjoyed following your channel for the past few months. Last year we finally bought a used RV much like yours but a little smaller. We are wondering what size of engine you have? Does your machine ever struggle a little on longer motorway hills? Anyway, we hope you are safe and well in Albania. We admire your tenacity in chasing Italian bread and ice creams while jogging!!! If you come by Valencia later in the year, we'll buy you dinner...
@WeWillNomad Жыл бұрын
Hi Robert, thanks for your comment! Ours is a 2.8 turbo diesel. We don't really struggle on longer motorway hills but it definitely doesn't like steep inclines. We don't push it by travelling very fast, we do MAX 90 km/hr on highways. We also try not to be overloaded! How are you enjoying your RV so far? We would love to be under 6m! We'll definitely take you up on that offer when we reach Valencia again, we really loved that area and want to return for longer next time! 😊

@@WeWillNomad Last summer the heat in Valencia region was unprecedented. RVs weren't made for it. I installed a silver-fronted insulation across the entire interior ceiling area of the RV, front to rear - big job but worth it. Now the Dometic AC cool air stays cool longer and at night the heat we use stays warmer for longer. Added a new vinyl flooring over the wood floor. Used the best solar film on the interior of the large windows - keeps sunlight heat out by day and interior heat in at nights - very worthwhile - had to drill tiny holes at bottom of double-windows to let the hot air out on hot days. The interior of the RV is now more humane and easier to regulate whether it's very sunny by day or cold at night. We drove over the Pyrenees to Lourdes and stayed in a beautiful site there. Stayed in Huesca and Pamplona also, also toured Aragon. Now planning to trip to Scotland for the summer to attend a wedding. We travel with two small pooches - looking forward to the 30min Channel Tunnel crossing. Our diesel engine is a 1.9TDi - very economical - sails along at 100km usually but a little less encouraging on long inclines - so I was thinking of selling and buying a 2.8, but this engine is perfect in every other way - never any trouble. Might stick with it since it's never given any owner any trouble. What do you think? Safe travels in Albania!
@WeWillNomad Жыл бұрын
Yes, we would also stick to the engine that you know and that doesn't give you hassels! For us, engine is one of the most important parts to have confidence in. How do you use your AC? Only when plugged in? We have one which we've only used twice in 2 years! Do you have a MaxxFan? We installed one of those last year and can't imagine how we lived without it now! Expensive, but very well worthwhile in our opinion! Great to be able to keep it open and going in all weather conditions. We can only dream of your type of insulation though!! 😊
@RobertJordan-kp7ti Жыл бұрын
@@WeWillNomad The summer heat last year broke records - suddenly many RVs were parked up and unusable! So the extra ceiling insulation with the solar film on the big side windows made the interior livable and controllable. Really - the solar film on the windows keeps out more radiant heat that anything else - worth the cheap price on Amazon and the hour or so installation time. 99% of UV kept out and - at nights in the Pyrenees - 99 of infra-red heat kept in!! The AC is really only necessary if once again caught in the extreme summer heat that broke records - it seems that the warming that I never expected to see in my lifetime is already affecting us on the Costa Blanca. Spain (and Portugal) had extreme forest and wildfires - you have to be careful now where you plan to drive in the summer months here... So, we are off to Scotland and - if it's still hot back here - to Sweden were I used to live and work... I installed 2 extra windows on one side of the RV so we don't really need the Maxx Air Fan just yet - we have two solar panels on the roof giving 500w of power to our new leisure battery. But with everything mostly running off the gas, we are powered up slightly beyond our capacity so far - we'll see how the panels perform in England and Scotland this summer. Keep safe! My wife used to work for a S.A. gold mining company and your accents bring her back...
@RobertJordan-kp7ti Жыл бұрын
The solar film gives a mirror finish on the outside so nobody can see in - you get privacy with temperature control. If you think about it, the silverised window blinds we stick to the interior of the windows let all the sunshine and heat into the interior and THEN stop it, but the solar film doesn't even allow the sunshine's heat inside at all - makes more sense in the hot summer. You do lose a bit of light but on this coast, that's no big issue.
