Bennett couldn’t have put it any better, it is not up to the rest of the world to tell Israel how to fight its battles or to state what they think is best, when Israelis are the ones who are there living it every single day. Any country that is in a position where it is surrounded by aggressive neighbours, has been fighting for its lives for the past 75 years, needs bomb shelters in every home, school, work place and public areas, needs to spend billions on building a security fence around its border and the Iron Dome to protect itself from hostilities that want them dead, with thousands upon thousands of attacks on its coverings, has every right to say enough is enough and defend itself. I know the situation is a complex one, I understand that the Palestinian citizens in some instances have a rough deal and that they are currently suffering, it’s incredibly sad. But if you do not put the past aside, move forward for the sake of your own people, rather than being driven by aggression and ego then things will not change for these people. We all have choices, we can choose to accept what situation has been dealt to us and no it’s not always fair or the outcome we want, but that is like feeling! Sometimes in the best interests of your people you make a choice to make the most of a shitty situation and if the Palestinians had been governed by a government that truly wanted to improve the lives of its people they have had every opportunity to use the billions upon billions of dollars in aid wisely, use their minds to create a nation where health and wellbeing are a priority, considering aid per capita is triple that of any other nation that currently receives help, they have a beautiful location that they could have taken advantage of and made that place an oasis, yet they chose to continue to go forward with vengeance and hatred and only one common goal and that is to rid Israel of all of its people and take over the land, kill every single Israeli or drive them out. Never again. ! This has to stop. Almost every other country around the world has been taken by force at some point in history, some several times, yet people some how, try to get on with life and work out a way to communication and find peace and harmony
