I also freeze pie crusts ahead of time. I roll them out on the plastic like that, and it works it's great. I don't cut away the excess crust. I turn it under and bunch it up because it's the best part!!

I love your video's . You always use items and ingredients that we all have around the house , others use ingredients that the normal person wouldn't have in their cabinet. Great job .

Beautifully done. My Mom, back in the day, used wax paper on the bottom and toprolling out using the 2 pieces of the paper. Nothing else to use back then, but I still often use wax paper now. Those pies look so delicious!! Thanks Renae.

I always roll pastry out on waxed paper. If it sticks to the paper, it’s easier to pick up than being on a hard surface. If it messes up, I piece together. Who cares!

Hey Renee and Mr. Wayna!! Those chicken pot pies look amazing!!!! I do love to make them too, but on bad days with pain I love Marie Callandar or Sam's or Costco pies. Although homemade is truly the best. God Bless you and your family!!!!

I make pot pie twice a month for my son and grandkids, I often wondered if I should blind bake the shell. (Idon't) I see that you don't either, so I guess that I 've been doing it right. TFS. I hope your not in too much pain from the shingles, I know that they can be very painful. Please rest, don't worry about putting up any videos. My mom used to tell me that I was full of piss and vinegar when I was (to put it nicely) acting up 😂. 💛 from 🇨🇦 Take care 🙂

Those look delicious. We always get the pies from Sam. We always have to go early because they disappear fast. We live a ways from Sam’s so when we go, we get three. One for our daughters family, one for our son and one for us. So I believe I’d be able to do that also. Thank you. For the beautiful idea.

I had that problem at work today the Wild Rice Cranberry bread was stuck together, because the loaf was wanky from freezer. It was tearing apart trying to split, whereas it doesn't do that.. I've never had my heart dropped on the floor, wouldn't know. My heart is centered

I love thyme in my chicken dishes! Esp pot pie. I use my mother in laws recipe & the thyme is what makes it. I got a good deal on chicken breasts & canned them(just like you did stew meat) oh it’s wonderful!! Cooked perfectly, makes a nice broth too. I made my chicken Patties this week using stove top stuffing, eggs, lots of cheese & fried. So good! And an easy, not expensive meal, bc I stock up on stuffing after the holidays.
