Unfortunately the items in the keepsake boxes are tied to the lot and not the sim. So the only way to actually transfer the items lot to lot is to take everything out of it and put it in your sims inventory before they move. I learned this when trying to take a box to University with all my goodies in it and once I got there couldn't get the items back out. Had to use a backup save to go back and put all the items into my inventory and then remember to do it again when I moved out of Uni and onto my own lot.

I've had this issue as well. If I remember correctly, if you put the box in your household inventory, exit to live mode and then go back and get the box out of the household inventory, you can then take stuff out of it.

The competition panel isn't bugged, they just all look unlocked when no horse is selected. And you can only enter 1 competition a day with a horse (so when you look a second time in a day and you only have one horse, they will all seem unlocked). Also, save up for a small basement, nectar ages faster in basements.

He went inside to have the moodlet disappear, but the moment he walked outside again in the same storm he got struck again and got the lightning powers from that. The planters not showing up in your inventory is a thing the Better Build Buy mod does. they will only show if you activate the show live objects or debug checkmark in the filter menu :) I had that same issue before. (If you resolved this later in the video please ignore my comment :D )

If the plants dying off in the wrong season keeps annoying you, Little Ms Sam has a mod that keeps them fully grown while out of season but they'll only be harvestable while in season. It's an optional part of the Gardening Workaround Fix under Bug Fixes (the mod also stops them randomly reverting to dirt piles for no apparent reason)

I think an individual horse can only enter competitions once a day, so when you looked at the competition selection after finishing a competition, you saw everything that was available because you didn't have a horse selected to use for it. Now that it's a new day and flame hasn't competed today, you're seeing what's available for her to compete in today.

You can sell to the merchant at anytime the pop up’s mean nothing. You can’t call the wine merchant or invite them over but you can force them to come to a stay over and they will. Then you can just make nectar and sell to him while he is there. Then cancel the stay over when your ready for him to go. A better relationship and nectar quality helps when you sell to him as well. 😊

For the fridge you could get one that works off the grid. You still have to put ice in it so it is a challenge. And it would help with the power thing xD The name Bonabel (proposed before you renamed the sheep) was the name of the sheep that left my house because of a bug... sniiiif He was filthy and I wanted to wash him, I clicked on wash all mini animals (or something like that) but he got to sleep and I couldn't. I tried to reset him to do so (because it wouldn't wake up otherwise), before it was to late. And... My sims suddenly was sad, I didn't get a notification, the sheep just disappeared and my sim had a moodlet saying his sheep friend left. I was so down because I took good care of every of them. And just because he went to sleep at the wrong time and wouldn't wake up... My poor sims XD So i would say... beware of the sheep's sleep, James XDDD

That’s unfortunate that there are so many bugs… I would definitely recommend updating your mods though, if you haven’t yet. Doc also had a lot of issues but most were resolved after updating his mods folder.

A couple tips! I know you want a ranch hand but Patchy can help with the animals too! The wood working bench has worked for me in the San myshuno art museum (it could be a mod bug you are experiencing since it has been working for me and I don’t use mods) and I got my sim a picnic basket to keep food for a little extra time- it usually doubles the amount of time if left out and lasts about 18 sim hours 😊 yeah loving this series so much 😄

Love this series, but just to let you know that thing where it unlocks all the competitions isn't a bug. You can only do one competition with each horse each day. So once you've completed that it looks like that to make it obvious you can't complete anymore

The intros are definitely the best! It makes my day much better 😄 That off the grid with the fridge is so buggy, you shouldn't have this many problems with one fridge. They definitely need to fix all the bugs in this game but even towards the end, when you were having a lot of them, it was hilarious! I was laughing so much from that! 🤣

You need to have the tag "debug" on when in your household inventory to show the items you crafted And the last time the entire levels of competition were unlocked bc you didn't have a horse selected

James, garden planters and anything else you build that is large goes to the household inventory. Sculptures go into sim inventory.
