We just moved to our dream home and it was a bit different moving during Covid as we did all our signing and stuff outside or in our car and weren’t allowed to have multiple people in the house at the same time etc. Wishing you all the best!!

Hi Emma! Your lovey monstera is a climbing plant by nature so you will need a moss pole (available in any garden centre) for it to attach itself to. It also needs to be misted to keep it happy. Xxx

Scotland is meet 6 people outside ONLY inside other houses is banned. Curfew for cafes, pubs and restaurants 10pm close everyday . Under 12 are exempt but kids over 12 must keep to group of 6 rule.

Hi Emma, I just watched your video and you have bottles of wine / champagne out in your storage, remember to lay them down if they have corks, otherwise the corks will dry out and the wine / champagne will go off and taste like vinegar and go flat. The kids beds from ikea are not as tall as you think, I am 5"2' and they're just above my knee. There should be a bit on the website that gives you all the dimensions so you can see exactly how tall it is. I would suggest upgrading the slats to the mid priced ones as the ones that come as standard aren't great and tend to either fall out or break

My boyfriend and I have just brought our first house during lockdown! It wasn’t planned but the perfect place came up so we went for it! Waiting for our mortgage was PAINFUL! I was (and still am) on furlough so getting the mortgage was not easy but we got there. We completed just over a month ago and have only just moved in because we have been doing loads of work like painting, sanding, electrics etc! Getting two kittens today so complete the house 😊

Still under tough lockdown restrictions, cannot leave 5km from home, can meet 1 other person outdoors, curfew 9pm - 5am, all non essential business is closed, 1 member of household can go to the shops for 1 hour max, allowed out for 2 hours for exercise, must wear a mask at all times when outside the home except if you are running or cycling. Kids haven't been to school since March. It is bloody tough but the numbers are dropping. I would like to work again, have my kids at school again, see friends again and just get on with things, but of course I understand why. Vlogs are great and help me feel a wee bit connected and I am interested in what is happening around the world too. I am excited to see your moving experience and curious to see what your new home will be like!

I'm in the Atlantic provinces part of Canada and we're the only region that isn't having a second spike at the moment. Masks are mandatory in alot of shops and offices and there are lots of rules for kids and symptoms at school and that sort of thing. Restaurants still aren't at full capacity and some companies are still WFH. I believe we're allowed gatherings up to 25 or 50 people now. My circle of friends and family isn't that big so I'm OK with that. Looking forward to your moving vlogs... I just did a bunch of renos at my house and love seeing how everyone does up their homes with their own vibe!

My 4 year old has that ikea bed! He gets in & out just fine without steps..... They do (or did) a version with a pull out bed underneath.. with 2 drawers instead of two) so great for sleepovers etc! The drawers are great for storage though...they fit so much in! Good luck with your move!

Very excited for the moving vlogs! I used to have a bad 'coke addiction' drinking 5-6 litres a day!! I used to get headaches and shake when i tried stopping! I watched a stop diet coke hypnotism video on youtube and haven't drank it in around 4 years. i probably drink too much tea now though 😂

Very excited to see the new house and how you decorate! I live in the midwestern United States, and it's not great here. Everyone is stressed about the Presidential election in 6 weeks, and some (stupid) people are being impatient and trying to force places to reopen. Also I just started Graduate School, and it's all online instead of in person so that's sad and lonely.

We have just had our loft boarded so all the contents came down. I sorted everything out and reboxed I then numbered each box and made a list of everything in each box. I now have a book with a typed page for each box so if I want something I look on the list and know that it’s in box number (x) so my partner doesn’t have to search each box looking for it.

I’d recommend looking at king single beds for your kiddos, not sure if they do them in England though, they’re a bit longer than a regular single so you don’t have to worry about your kids getting too tall for their beds xx
