Years ago our local power company "covertly" sent a representative to a town meeting The locals were discussing how pellet stoves were saving them money on their heating bills. This representative brought all kinds of charts and graphs to explain how it really wasn't efficient and bad for the environment. Someone in the crowd recognized him as being from the company and called him out on it. Apparently he left in distress. Rather quickly too!! The point is that don't care about the environment. They care about their customers being dependant on them.
