Norm is a comic for layman and simpletons. He is not particularly sophisticated. I think you will find the pool of individuals that find him to be the funniest comic who ever lived, very very small. Leaving you with few to relate to. Norm is talented to be sure, and his gimmicks are subtle, but his humor is not particularly intelligent as many profess. I can think of at least 20 overall better comics off the top of my head.
