I'm from NYC and I've been a Liverpool fan since i was a kid... when I was old enough (and had the money) to travel over for games my love of the club went to another level. My grandparents are from Ireland and Scousers/Scouse hunour reminds me so much of Irish people and their humor. Greek American ironically a fan of Olympiakos. After Gerrard scored THAT goal against us I said I would follow them the rest of that CL season. Istanbul happened and Liverpool, Gerrard, Carragher left a big impact on me. Olympiakos will always be my club but in the PL I support LFC.
