Because of the recent events in Sheikh Jarrah, I did some reading on what happened during the Nakba in 1948 and the subsequent policies by the Israeli government that has exacerbated the persecution of the Palestinian people and I am so shocked that the entire world let such an injustice happen. I can't imagine what it must be like living under that cloud of constant uncertainly and anxiety. All I can hope for is that the international community wakes up and does something so there is a stop to this incalculable plight that generations of Palestinian people have been put through.

I am atleast glad now the greater world is opening their eyes to the horrors perpetrated by Israel and USA through their financial backing to this apartheid regime.
