Guys... LIVE is their SUPERPOWER!!!!!! This song live is EPIC!!!!!!! 💯🤘🤘🤘

You went music video again... They are very subdued in their recorded/music video versions. LIVE is their super power. Find this same song Live at Pepsi Center and you get more aggressive vocals and the vibe of what The Warning is actually about. Music videos are fine to get an idea of what the song is about - but then watch the live version to see what The Warning does when they translate their songs for the crowd when they blow up a venue. Yes, the drummer, Pau is the creative driving force. They say that a lot of their songs start with her sitting at the piano and just playing chords and things until something hits her, and that's when magic happens. She comes up with something and takes it to her sisters and they all get together to rock-ify it.

Bassist, Ale, was 16 years old, in this video and 15, when the track was recorded. She's insanely good. This entire band totally hits all the spots.

Okay, now watch the live version from the Pepsi Center concert. You'll see. This is a great effing song. Theur studio work is great, but live is where the prrove themselves. Yes, they are getting better, but they've been great from the last thress albums.

This was the first single released from their 3rd album, so not surprising that it has a more “mainstream “ sound. If you like punk, suggest “Z” live performance from Pepsi Center or P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C live at Lunario on their channel. 😎👍

Interesting take. I think you'll find that their sound definitely evolves over time. Their current fanbase tends to enjoy their 3rd album "Error" the most but many old timers like their 2nd album "Queen of the Murder Scene" best. Newer fans seem to like their latest 4th album "Keep Me Fed" which has the 2 songs you mentioned. If I were to pick a Top 10 from The Warning, I would be choosing 2 or 3 from each of their 4 albums. Love this band. 🤟🎸🥁🎸🤟

What else? Just watch the entire tenth anniversary show, Live at Pepsi Center, CDMX, 10/28/2023. It does not get any better than that. We're not kidding about live. They are much more fun to hear live. That show is FULL of fantastic surprises and the energy goes off the charts. It is perfectly mixed and mastered for video, and the video work is top tier. Pau does a couple of songs at the piano, one of them - *Black Holes* - with a ten-piece string section, and then solo on *Breathe,* that she said she would NEVER play live. Dany does an emotional solo of *When I'm Alone.* They play *Enter Sandman* with the string section. They play songs from all four of their albums. Several were unreleased when they held the concert, and wound up on *Keep Me Fed,* months later. The version of *21st Century Blood* is crazy, amped up by six years of experience they didn't have for their first album.

Your not listening to the people who know this band. Watching music videos, especially with a band that dreads making them, is NOT the way to see a band's performance. This band IS a LIVE band. Their studio and music videos recording are good, but where they shine is in concert. There are tons of live performances on their channel. If you're liking this band, you must react to the Pepsi Center show. Pick any of the over 20 songs, since they do not write bad songs. Again guys ... live is the thing with The Warning!

the gentleman seems to have a problem reconciling their physical beauty with their talent as musicians, sad and strange
@Nolimitcam._15 күн бұрын
Exactly, they already were great long ago when they were kids… years pass and they just happen to turn into beautiful women and they can’t control that… the important part is always about the music because they can control that
@aviewfromthestage15 күн бұрын
Not a problem at all..but considering that they JUST TURNED 18, or are in their early 20s I didn't think it was prudent to mention it. I'm all about the music... except in the case of Love Bites or various other bands.

Yeah another guitar. Only problem there isn't another sister and it just would not be the same with just anyone else! Maybe in the future they will more regularly add other performers as they have during some of their concerts such as drummers and guest guitarists and strings such as violins and do more collabs such as they did with Bandmaid.

Yeah TWA sometimes can be... ah... how can I say it... Partial... so to say... I personally had trouble sinking into this song too (and Animosity from the same album) it did take A LOT of spins for me to get into the groove of the song. And I don't think it is due to the song being "slow" because I heard other songs that are even considered ballads before listening to Choke, and I liked those more. It might me just a matter of simplicity (which is not a bad trait to have on some songs). And I totally understand why the label wanted this song to be the first single from their Error album as it is catchy, but simple and ballady-sh, and also the voice of Dany is simply magnificent. 10:30 never thought about it but to be fair I don't see the resemblance except for when sometimes Tati has a ponytail... May be...? 😅

While Pau comes up with many of the song ideas however . .If there are any decisions to be made when there is a disagreement Ale makes that desicion . . . She also has perfect pitch and does not need a click track to keep in time . . She keeps the others in time . . . Ale also had a major role in the sound direction of Keep Me Fed album . . . To me Ale is actualy the leader of TW . . She lets the other 2 do there thing but makes the choice in the end . . . Its easier that way lol Take care till next time . Bye from NZ👍👋🇳🇿🍻twa
