Nice find with those books. I love the look and feel of old books, and many can be worth real money. I love selling old books. I once got a couple boxes of late 19th/early 20th century religious books off the free section of Craigslist. Well worth the time it took me to go pick them up.

Love the little shoes. The brass ones with the cigerette notch were sold in the 60's by Home Interior a decor party company. I have one of them that my Mom bought or won at a party.( Late 50's early 60's ) The company went on for a long time and kept evolving with the trends.

Just a little info on Nao figurines. Nao is “owned” by Lladro but a different design team. They are “simpler” designs and normally less expensive. Not a precursor to Lladro. Nao started in 1968 and Lladro I believe was 1953.

I have a suggestion, but it usually grosses people out. It’s used to clean antique paintings. Saliva on a finger tip or a tissue. Sellers may not approve, but it would work to see if the stain on the black vintage purse can be removed. It might work on pen marks too.

The ashes are always placed in a plastic bag inside the box. Every time i see the boxes, i think it's an urn. You wouldn't know unless you have had a pet and got their ashes back, or you have worked at a vet's. But, the boxes are beautiful. I have 2, but my boxes are sealed shut with no trap door, so they would be destroyed if opened to spread the ashes. I worked for a vet, and you would have to specify that the box not be sealed if you wanted to spread the ashes somewhere. ❤🐾
