I'm 52 and let me give you young men some advice. Live for yourself. Build a business or a career. Read lots of books, learn lots skills, get into shape. Don't chase women, don't put them on a pedestal, and don't make them the focus of your life. You do that and the women will seek you. Kinda like cats. If you put cat food outside it won't be long and you'll have a 💩 load of cats around you. But if you stood outside and yelled here kitty kitty kitty, you'd be yelling until the end of time and not one cat will appear

I live/work in a resort town - even if you "build" something - most of them have wandering eyes. I get 1-4 phone numbers per week and I'm just a "loser" working at a hotel. So - there's that.... I think you're better off telling the younger guys to simply forget about dating typical dime a dozen western women who have that whole Disney princess complex. My girl is from Fiji - her FAMILY and RELIGION is what grounds her. Women in the US don't believe in anything but "lifeSTYLE" - and just "building" something becomes a game of trying to have a relationship while having in place financial/asset boundaries for the day she gets "bored." SO - yes - On some levels I agree - but - when you look at the way the country is quickly going down the path of wealth redistribution as well as private property rights being REMOVED = I don't believe that strategy is the way to go. DADDY Gov't is coming up with new an inventive ways to tax those who have property/assets/businesses. The 600 corporations apart of the WEF - they run the show. Instead - I'd say this: Lay low, make some money, don't display it, and find a girl who believes in God or has resolved any existential and familial issues. There's no point in dating some church girl with DADDY Issues. I drive a ten year old vehicle on purpose, $20 jeans, and a $3 T-shirts... Too many guys try to display their wealth and get the fake girl - who plays along for a few years - then they'll hit the divorce button.

It seems so odd women push against what men want. Frankly much of it is not only feminism, but Marketing, Advertising, and Sales relentlessly talking people (women) into buying stuff they won't care about if four months time. It's employers constantly telling women how fantastic they can be by working a job. Oh, what does JOB stand for? Just Over Broke. So much for those lies. And there's government. You work overtime to pay for those unnecessary things you bought, pay for daycare, upgrade to a nicer house; the extra taxes you pay are a windfall to governments. They love that! And finally the education/lending industry. Colleges are more than happy to sell you any degree you want and lending institutions have no problem putting you into long-term debt collecting interest from your labor. Such a recipe for happiness! Or a woman can be feminine and commit to a man, raise a family, and work some part time when the timing is good. Yet most women fail to recognize how good this las path can be for them.

Then I look at myself in the mirror and try to imagine myself with a girl who is 34 years old. Yes, I know there are petite lolis who look 19 at 30. Watching this reminds me of the last HS reunion I attended. I was in the class of 1976. Today I am 65. I remember that night for more than this subject. I played HS football. One of my best friends was also a linebacker. He married that year's homecoming queen. Of course, she cheated on him. He found out and divorced her. That night almost 43 years after we graduated she was spending a lot of time near me. Every time I turned around I saw her. "Anne" has kept herself in good shape and honestly the years have treated her well. Still, I despise cheaters and after about 2 hours of her BS, I left the venue in anger. I have no plans to ever attend another reunion. At the hotel, her ex called me. He had heard about what happened. To this day Anne still won't leave him alone. They divorced in 1999. If I remember correctly she has hauled him into court at least 6 times over something. The last time was when he retired and got his pension started. She wanted part of it. The time before that he was not giving their daughter enough money for school. One of the hardest things to get females to understand is they are born with value. She was friendly, kind, and treated people well. She refused as the age difference (me being younger) bothered her. I waited a year and asked her again. She decided to go out with me and our personalities really clicked. While we as men, do value youth and beauty, if you want a long-term relationship with someone go for a good heart and you are attracted to. Worse thing you can do is marry a woman with a horrible personality and/or treats you like crap.

There were ice boxes in the south before the Civil War. Ice was sawed into blocks, in the North during winter. It was stored in Ice Houses and insulated with saw dust. It was shipped by special insulated ships to the South. Ice in the South, during summer, was a big status symbol. There was about a 50% loss during shipping but, it still made some Northerners wealthy. Even into the 1930s, there were Ice Houses still in northern towns. Two aspects worth noting about relationships in the past; parents played a large role in who their children married. Fathers would be the ultimate arbiter of who their daughters married, and mothers would at least have a role in vetting young girls for their sons. These older more experienced and wiser people being a check on young passions made for much more stable relationships. and secondly, we can't ignore the elephant in the room. Women were married off when they were 14/15 years old. And yes, they were *women* at that point. Their husband had access to all of their prime years, not just that last few. And those 14/15 year old women were blank slates that would grow and adapt to become what their husband wanted and expected. A 21/22 year old man in the middle of his journeyman phase or with a few years of a trade or higher education (back when that meant something) marrying a 14 year old was not only common, it was expected. Since we've arbitrarily set the minimum age of marriage for girls to 18 and convinced society that any man who is even a few years older is a creep for wanting her, we have ensured that damn near 100% of women have some kind of baggage before they get married. They aren't clean slates to mold to their husbands anymore.

Marriage used to be understood as a sort of business partnership, to put it in modern terms. It wasn't necessarily just about "love" with each other, it was a commitment to a third party, The Marriage, in which they both benefit, and the family benefits, and society benefits. Now it's all been reduced to simple animal attraction, nothing more than that. And nobody benefits, ultimately.
@meloniedropik3539 Жыл бұрын
I have been thinking about arranged marriages and questioning our abandonment of the entire premise. Hear me out. I acknowledge that there must have been poor matches made because anything we humans do will be done less than perfectly every time it is tried, and there were practices that made no more sense than rolling dice (arrangements between newborn babies), but our progressive and modern vision of forming a healthy society has failed if happiness or satisfaction with life is a valid measure. I wonder whether the number of people (percent would be the better measure, but more awkward to form readable sentences) who were truly unhappy in their arranged marriages exceeded that of today? I think the answer is clear that forming a committed couple (in the past meant marriage but today often does not) based only upon the animal attraction between the two partners has been a disaster. There is a lot to be said for the input of our families and friends when it comes to finding a suitable partner. How many of us (probably 100%) attended a wedding knowing full well that it wouldn't last, but the couple ignored anyone who tried to warn them? We think we are so much smarter and sophisticated in our thinking than those who came before us, and that hubris has cost us dearly in almost every way imaginable.

The original reason why she married him was that she was a military nurse and was about to be sent to the frontline during WWII while she didn't want to be at war, she wanted to stay in her hime country as a civilian nurse. My greatgrandfather was a surgeon and a colleague, she told him about his dilemma so he sugessted to marry her, as married women could stay home. The decision was literally made in a day. They lived together for 25 years as he died early, she died at 95. They had three kids and she inherited a house I grew up in which later was inherited by my grandfather. She often said the two shouldn't necessarily be in love before marriage as love might develop if the two treat each other with respect and compassion.

Marriage was created to buy and sell women, unite countries and gain generational wealth. Both always had lovers, the hubby and the wife. It's ALWAYS been about money and lands...NEVER about love. Even Jesus says don't marry. And the other dude "married" a 9 year old...get real it's about love...it's about pedos collecting harems/harms...that's it. Men really need to start being honest....they want seggs bots...come dumpsters...that's it. Made women dolls for dollars and now complain when said men no longer have dollars...you don't see women trying to get into men's bathrooms. You don't see women saying pedo law be revoked in Cali...men are because if pedo a harsher sentence...most men would have to be incarcerated. Start using logic....if arranged marriages, forced all male gods, man made money system didn't exist....men wouldn't ever have women. God put the food right on the ground, in the trees and bushes, free birth control in wild yams...MEN pulled up all the original seed and created money and said if you don't pay or work for us we will starve you...what do you think the witch trials were about...women fighting big ag and big pharma....men aren't taught anything...need to get off those video games...think about it...david is their boy in some religions...Da Video Gameo (gameo is marriage in Greek)...you hunt and play with game. A gamer dude said it best: women start on difficult and stay there. men start on easy and stay there. Men forget girls/women bleed and are in pain almost their entire lives. While boys are whacking off, girls are huddled in a corner bleeding, puking and wishing to die as early as 9. By the time girls hit 15 they have experienced so much physical pain every single month for years, the majority of boys/men are weak compared to them. Ever watch a man try to take a period simulator....men are the weaker sex...it's why they only allow themselves to be in the army with all the weapons...it's why they say still to this very day around the world...women can't go to school...men have to do everything they can to TRY and keep women down. Logic fails men because if they were logical men would know they are the darkness in the world. Majority of crimes, ALL wars, money, etc....men do this. Men say they are so much more logical than women...REALLY...you don't see women trying to invade others lands. Men are the destructive force. Older men send younger men to war to die and younger men just say "yes sir" and all the men need are brothels to do older men's bidding....men make the rain and then ask why it's raining...

Here is another breakdown of what you are pointing out using data from the UK. Last year 60% female to 40% male were accepted into University in the UK. Also bare in mind the fact that boys have always dropped out of university at a higher rate, therefore even more females than 60% will graduate. That 60/40 is growing at about 1% year on year. Under the age of 30 females are currently earning more than males of the same age in the UK (may even be up to 35 now). We can only conclude that in the future we will have a situation where we will have a huge number of well educated, high earning professional women and a much smaller group of men in the same category. Due to the phenomena that we call hypergamy (women always marry up) these women will have a tough job finding a partner due to the fact there are so few compatible men because women will rarely marry down. Add to this a fact that no women likes to admit, that these middle aged successful high earning men are not even looking for women of similar status... theyre looking for hot young babes. And we get a situation of large numbers of high earning successful professional women who will never find a suitable partner. This is a future problem that Feminism never accounted for, or even thought about, and as yet have not even addressed.

In actuality, not only did Feminism account for this chain of events, it _planned_ for it. The breakdown of the family, the isolation of individuals, and the destruction of a moral code were the goal of Feminism all along. The whole "empowering of women" motto was a lie sold to the masses to achieve a desired end: sheeple who could be herded by a totalitarian government. The only things slowing down "progress" have been pesky religion and the tendency for people to do the unexpected.

@Joker: the Houston story reminds me of something. In the late 1990s early 2000s PBS did a documentary about an outbreak of STDs including syphilis, among high school and junior high school children in one town. Health officials had to track down every affected teens partners and it ended up being like your average daytime soap opera where everyone had pretty much had sex with each other. When addressing the seriousness of some of these diseases with students, health officials were met with laughter. It was so bad, girls admitted going to parties and letting every male in attendance have sex with them and then coming out of the bedrooms torn, bleeding, and smiling. The documentary was clearing pointing out how bad promiscuity and teen sex are. But today? Today elementary school kids are being sexualized by teachers, doctors, and society at large.

I worked HARD for 50 years, often risking my life overseas in war, to make my life. 825 credit rating, zero bills, 30k in savings and an untouched VA house loan. Plus 3 women who did none of these things and asked if they could be my gf and move in with them. Every one of those women earned money, but also SPENT money but the idea of saving money or earning a retirement pension was not in their vocabulary. So, I have rules: If I ask you out, I pay. If you ask me out, you pay. I am not your retirement Plan-B. You cannot live with me. Before you visit for even a weekend, I record you telling me that you DO NOT LIVE HERE! I will NOT 'loan' you money! And I do NOT love you! Also, "I" decorate my house, not you! I do not need: potpourri, his & hers towels, duvet (whatever that is), and pretty sheets. I DO want swords on the wall, porn on my book and DVD shelves, a punching bag on the back porch, a work shed (NOT a she-shed). And if you ignore those, I have, in my bedroom, a st andrews cross with manacles and a whip that WILL scare you away after you realize that I will NOT marry you, pay your debt, raise your kids, give you a platinum card, etc.
