Congratulations! We have 2 sons 20 months apart. With your experience it is easier but there will be some changes. Yes 2 little ones are so sweet. The way the first one talks to their sibling and the excitement the 2nd ones shows are toward their sibling is priceless. I remember twice seeing the 20 month old patting his baby brothers face and telling him he loved him.

It’s so crazy how similar our situations have been. I followed you when you got pregnant the first time and I was due a few weeks after you, we miscarried at about the same gestation. I remember sobbing when you announced your pregnancy with Elliana because I wished my rainbow too, I ended up being due 2 months after you. We started trying when our rainbow girl was 9 months too and got pregnant my first ovulation which happened to be a bit later but our second children are only a few months apart as well and we’re both military wives. It’s been so fun to watch your journey and compare with my own💗

It took us 7 months and 2 miscarriages to get a successful pregnancy with our first boy, and we thought the second time round we'd start trying because for sure it would take a while and bam we got pregnant straightaway and due in September with another boy ❤

I have to say having them close in age was great! I honestly didn’t have a difficult time with them. My older son was so helpful and was so sweet to his baby brother. I always made sure to keep him involved so he didn’t feel like his baby brother was being favored. Elliana is going to be such a sweet sister, and you and Chaz will continue to be the wonderful, loving parents that you are.💕💕💕💕💕💕

Jessica Elle I think having a routine made things more manageable. And making sure I took care of myself and rested when I needed to. My 2nd son had really bad reflux, so I had to watch him closely. You’re going to do great sweetie! Remember not to be hard on yourself if housework doesn’t get done. It will always be there, so just enjoy every moment with Elliana and your new baby. Everything will fall into place. And you and Chaz are such a great team that you’ll figure things out.❤️❤️❤️

I had a similar age gap and it was fine. I love my children being close in age. I would sing nursery rhymes to the older one when I was nursing so that he would feel I was paying him attention too. Also, friends would often take the older one out to the park or play centre in the afternoons so I could get some rest. God bless you and your little family.
