To celebrate Australian Made Week, we sat down with our Founder, Tin Hua, to take a look behind the scenes at our origins and what it's like to manufacture gear right here in Brisbane.

Great story from a great creator. I was impressed with the company when I bought my first bit of KAON gear for my Prado and got an incite into the product development when you use my car for measuring and testing fitting of the overhead shelve. Moving along I am in a 300 series and the most desired accessory for the car was a KAON overhead shelve. I look forward to see what else you release for that car. Congratulations on the growth and next step on the KAON journey.

What a beautiful story and video - brought a tear to my eye! I love KAON products, they are quality you can be rely on and being Australian made, by such a terrific family business, makes them even more wonderful! Good onya mate. It's great to see an Aussie business making products locally do well. I love my KAON roof shelf and cargo barrier combo on my 80 Series. I've had it for 4 years now and still one of the best mods I've done on my rig - worth every cent. Only request, make more gear for the 80 Series. There are still plenty of 80s around. 😁👍

@@KAONaust Some ideas for the 80...Gullwing windows with inner molle panels for the rear side windows (check out the Yodatech Gullwing); A table bracket to fit under the rear roof shelf so I can slide a light Lifetime 1m table there from Bunnings; Your beautifully engineered rated recovery hooks; 2nd row seat roof shelf (w/adjustable height). I'm sure your creative team can come up with more. 😁
