As far as their podcasts go, I can see why leaving California is harder. I know that Lizzie, jerid, and Chris are willing to travel to do podcast but they also have their new producer there in California. Plus Sandy and Shane's mom. I love the Colorado house too but as far as being able to make their content plus just enjoy seeing their friends, California makes more sense

I agree with almost everyone here....do NOT sell Colorado. You BOTH said Colorado made you extremely happy...the happiest you've ever been. Plus, you have all of that acreage that your boys will learn so much more just from that than all of the places you'd have to go to learn in Cali. Then let's talk about your animals!!! The dogs always look like they have way more fun in Colorado. They certainly get way more exercise all over your Colorado place..not just talking walks...but talking all of the places they have to explore around your Colorado house. They are always laying down and snoozing when not on a walk in California. The cats...way more entertainment with the deer roaming by the windows in Colorado!! You never show them having that kind of fun in California! Then there are your Alpacas. They grew up in Colorado and are used to the weather and environment. Plus they have ALL of that land in Colorado. Can you say the same about the area around your California house? The chances of a fire being anywhere close to your Colorado house is pretty small up there. You couldn't move into your California house right away because of a huge fire just down the block. Come on guys...your boys are plenty old enough to visit Colorado and to move to Colorado. The choice is very clear...Colorado. Plain and simple!! Don't make any rash decisions until you take the boys for a bit at least to your Colorado home. They are part of your family and should be helping you decide. @@Daveyjonesviit’s Shane’s family who live in LA, all of Ryland’s family are in CO, obviously it doesn’t really matter, because they’d be split from family either way, I wish they would stay in CO, because they’ve both said they’re so happy there. Jerid and sandy and Theresa have been there in the past for the holidays, even spending time with Rylands family in CO often. Obviously with the podcasts, they’ve flown Jerid and Chris and Lizzie out for filming, but I assume it would be really difficult now she’s pregnant and preparing for her own baby in LA. I can just see them so happy surrounded by family and the babies growing up in the different seasons, winter snow days, especially aunt Morgan’s house and land around her property, playing in the fields! Then being bombarded with love from Grandma Vicki🥹❤

I lived the first 6 years of my life with goats, chickens and land to run around in and then moved to your typical suburban neighborhood…. Some of my happiest memories were in my old house with animals. It was so fun and adventurous as a child! Maybe bring the boys to Colorado and stay for a few months to just see how it goes before selling it. That way you can get a feel what life would look like with the whole family there! Bring Teresa, Vicki, Morgan, Chris, Lizzie, etc to help move the boys over to visit. Assign everyone a pet and a bag and the dads keep a baby and tough it out for the flight. And don’t fly back and forth all the time just stay for a long period.

LOL Have you seen their Calabasas house? They don't live in the city of LA, they are in a remote area of Los Angeles County, in the Santa Monica mountains not far from the beach, with hiking trails and plenty of room for the alpacas and the boys to run and play on their property, and surrounding areas 😊 If they want snow, Big Bear is only a 2 hour drive. Calabasas is gorgeous.

The Alpaca was a sign to keep the CO house ❤ I know it’s expensive but you both seem so much happier there, I can picture your future with all the animals and babies growing up through the seasons, winter snow days❄️, running around in the fields at aunt Morgan’s house in the snow and in summer☀️, the pretty colours of fall🍂, grandma Vicki baking and surrounding them with love, and great grandma Janice watching and seeing her great grandkids. 🥹 Theresa, Jerid and Sandy all flying in for visits at the holidays and everyone for the podcasts. Morgan’s annual Christmas cookie competition! If it’s the expenses, maybe you could look at downgrading one of the houses or renting it out for when you’re not there (over looked by someone else with how busy you are). You are really blessed to have such a big big wonderful family and amazing friends and coworkers who still spend time together, I have a big family and everyone just sort of disappeared after my dad died in 2020, and I very much miss our big family gatherings of both sides of the family. Life’s too short, take as much opportunity to spend the time you have with your loved ones in a place you love and are happy to be there. ❤❤

What's crazy is that you guys always said that it was like the best moments of your life living in Colorado. I just hope you guys didn't get sucked into the fame and glamorous part of California even though they destroy you in taxes and prices of everything.
