We're so frustrated with the IVF decision we had to make this week. We got another embryo update and the genetic testing results back and I'm sharing everything that happened.

@@kendraquigley2621 there are cookies that say 'ivf is tough but so are you'. Also cookies are mixed together, formed (sometimes refrigerated) then baked in the oven. A bit like the baker is the embryologist. Then when you eat the cookie you think of the couple and say a little prayer or send baby vibes their way. Its used a lot for trying to conceive couples.

Oh my heart when you asked if you could go talk to them to encourage them like plants. They are your babies! My first pregnancy ended as a miscarriage and when I got pregnant with my daughter I referred to her as "maybe baby" until she was literally out and in my arms. Praying that you will hold your maybe babies, too ❤️

Having had 6 losses myself, I totally understand. I have 2 rainbow daughters and am pregnant currently. I'm 31 weeks so she's definitely a baby, I just pray that everything goes well and she is happy and healthy and I get to be her momma and have her by the side for the rest of my life.

I never, EVER, knew this is how IVF is, I have to be the most naive person on the planet! I thought, you make an appointment, go to the Dr, make a few more appointments happily get your eggs retrieved and go back implant them and you'll have a baby, of course it may take more than one time and for a very small % of couples it doesn't work on. You have schooled me to no end! This is so HARD.. and what you go through is unbelievable. I am sorry for all that you've gone through and thankful you are this far down the road. As an IVF baby myself I am rooting so hard for you! Almost 30 years ago when it wasn’t so common, my mom made sure I knew how extra specially loved I was because my parents had to try extra hard to have me, and that’s always stayed with me! You can make the hallway cabinets look more “built in” using trim/molding to cover the gaps between and even crown molding on top. There are lots of tutorials on Pinterest and probably even on KZbin. It seems like an extremely simple DIY.

Check out Abbeyfied. She and her husband built cabinets alongside their fireplace and made them look like built-ins by using molding. And they really do look like they came with the house as built-ins ❤💚💜💙💛

We had 8 embryos and only 3 were PGS normal. It’s always a let down hearing the numbers drop. We transferred 1 of the 3 and now have an amazing 18 month old and we’ll be doing transfer #2 soon.

I’m so sorry I am currently living your story but just a couple of days behind you. We got our genetic testing yesterday and had to make the decision today to do an ERA or a transfer. The decision is so difficult! I could feel your pain and struggle! Accepting and trusting is so difficult when you just want your baby so bad. We will get there!! I feel like our IVF journey is so similar! Even the timing on what we are doing! I had my egg retrieval on September 21st, we had 29 eggs retrieved, 22 matured, 12 fertilized, 6 blastocyst, 3 chromosome normal. My doctor also recommended to take a month off to better our chances. Doctor said my ovaries are still recovering. So far our embryo transfer is scheduled for December 15th, hopefully there’s no changes 🤞🏽 Sadly, I have to be on birth control until I get my calendar for the transfer, and I know when to start taking estradiol. I HATE BIRTH CONTROL!! Wishing the best for the both of us! Patience is key 🔑

I’m an IVF baby (25 years old now) and it’s been so sweet to see your journey with what the IVF process is like these days. Growing up, once I found out what my mom went through to have me (they tried for a total of 7 years and a few different types of cycles!) I felt so connected to her, and so proud of her, especially as a woman who wants to have kids in the future. IVF mommies are so strong and brave! Your kids will appreciate your journey no matter how it ends up happening and these videos will be so cool for them to see.

I had no intention of that and I only asked out of genuine curiosity due to never going through this before. You sharing your story helps people so much whether it’s helping people currently going through infertility or just helping people understand the painful journey that couples do go through. You are by far my favorite KZbinr and consider you a friend. Even though I didn't struggle with infertility, any waiting was hard while trying to conceive. I can't even imagine the hope of having a date scheduled for a transfer and then finding out it's better to wait. We got to tell our family we were pregnant on Christmas...its a great holiday gift if the timing works out. They make really cute ornaments for that. Really your baby just loves Christmas as much as you so they wanted to wait til closer to then to be transferred. Thats my theory but I am sending yall so so much love and happy vibes! You guys are amazing parents already!

I would say totally go for filling in the whole space with storage! And if you wanted to make it look like a built in, you could pretty easily just "fill" the gaps with trim that matches the white of the cabinets! And if you do that, I'd recommend doing it on the top too (not that anyone could see) but that will prevent dust from getting on the floor where you can't reach it.

I love that you're sharing your journey as I feel these things aren't openly talked about nearly enough ❤ As for the cabinets, the spaces in between might get extra dort or hair stuck in between and they would be difficult to clean between... so if you dont mind a bit of a struggle when you're doing your deep cleaning, definitely max the storage!!

Argh, I am so sorry you guys have had to go through all of these speed bumps with your ivf. I had ivf too and the unpredictability and last minute changes and stressors and disappointments are so crazy. I 100% think you did the right thing about postponing the transfer and also with not doing an ERA yet. I hope this cycle flies by for you in terms of the disappointment of waiting. Hugs!
