@@unotheworm2995 sure, but lice also spread the disease and can't feed on rodents, plus rodents also die from the plague, they aren't immune, a dead rat can only spread the plague as far as a dead human could, with lice or fleas. seems to me humans spread it just as much if not more, since humans interact with other humans more than rats do. but the unhealthy living conditions didn't help rid them of the lice, they only bathed three times a week and threw shit buckets into the streets. really paris was not a very nice smelling city.
