The YardFarmer team recently traveled to Silver Spring, Maryland, to help Nick and Mallory transform their mid-century Maryland home's landscape from a traditional BLAWN to a lush, native landscape that will benefit pollinators and local wildlife!
Nick and Mallory had already been hard at work on this yard for several years, but after watching a YardFarmer video decided to hire Daryl to help bring their dreams to life! And thanks to Garden for Wildlife, they were able to get hundreds of native plants to make that dream a reality!
This is part 2 of a 3 part series, where Daryl and Nick (with help from Mallory) unpack the hundreds of native plants that Garden for Wildlife shipped to the site!

I'm Daryl. I really hate mowing the lawn.
That’s how all of this began: a search for landscaping alternatives that don't require sacrificing every Saturday morning to the mower.
As a certified permaculture designer, I help transform boring, basic lawns into beautiful yards that take care of us the way we take care of them.
