80's New Wave. The term Alternative didn't come about until the 90's. I was 100% Completely into New Wave so I would know. I wouldn't listen to anything else but New Wave and the one New Wave station in Southern CA from 1981 to 1989. Then music changed and terms/genre changed. When it was starting to be called Alternative, I was out.

@@scousenotenglish2819 I've been to just about every major music festival in the UK and none of them come even close to what you claim. If you honestly think a fest is the best venue to see a band you are clueless buddy so I say again. Don't be silly
