Very well said. Jisoo did put out her own mark, brand, sound, look and showed us what she wants to be. What music she likes. I waited patiently for Jisoo's solo, and so love it when it finally came out! She's different when it comes to timing 😅. And I also love and appreciated too the solos of each member. I'm so happy all 4 got their solos now. I can't wait for the next round and build a longer playlist with just their solos. 🤟❤️

Kyle, you have a great eye, part of it was indeed recorded on film. The exterior location was Universal Studios Hollywood recorded in 2days at the end of February. As you've observed, YG spares no expense when it comes to the girls. The track itself I think is wonderful and a great start to her solo career. Given the success of all their solos I think it's fair to say we'll see more from all of them over the next few years. And while I think you're probably aware, Blackpink's headlining Coachella Apr 15th and 22nd. YT's live streaming so you may want to listen in.

To the metal head, this song need relistening to appreciate. My first listen was just average. But the more I listen the more addictive it becomes. Especially the inflection of her voice. The chorus is so addictive. Like it stuck in my head since its release. I remember yesterday my mother told me why I keep on singing the same melody repeatedly (the pre-chorus part specifically), and I told her that it's a good song and it literally got stuck in my head ever since my first listen to it. I have to admit the more I listen to it. The more I like it. If I have a complaint about it... it is too short. But, in saying that I love the fact it is not overproduced. It is letting us hear Jisoo's vocals beautifully without overstretching her voice. The high and low notes sound truly awesome and cannot wait to hear this live. I am not sure if that will be at Coachella or their return to the world tour concerts. It has already been stated at the last world tour concert before her solo release was the last time she will be doing Clarity on tour so from that I assume she will now be singing her own solo songs and cannot wait. Hopefully she will be singing both her songs and not just one. I am very pleased for Jisoo, she has waited a long time for this and she has put an awful lot of thought into it. Lets be honest here there was an awful lot of pressure on Jisoo as she knows her fans have waited a long time for this. Personally I believe she has delivered with both her songs. I wish her great success. As I wish the same for them all :)

You got it right when you say it's "different". Jisoo is street smart as her producer Teddy Park said. She is also unpredictable when making choices. So it's expected she'll choose a genre that's different from what we all usually expect from a BP music. And I like that about her. She does love film cameras and uses one a lot when she wants to keep memories of time spent with family, friends or places she visited. When members of BP made their solos... we thought she gonna do one too, but she chose to make a kdrama. Not a romcom one like most rookie actress would choose, but a heavy, dark kdrama. Some doubted her acting, until the kdrama is shown. She blew everyone away with the depth and range if her acting prowess. She ended up winning acting awards for her first kdrama. So when her solo is finally announced... I expected the unexpected. Different. And I wasn't disappointed. 😊 Sorry this is long, I may be corrected by some who have known her longer. Thank you for the reaction. And yes like you, I hope she gives us more songs that reflect her mind and who she is outside of Blackpink music. Don't get me wrong tho, I LOVE LOVE LOOOOOOVE all the songs Blackpink made. But sometimes, I want to experience other genres, and Jisoo gave me that. Bangers and impact songs I get my fix from BP playlist. But when I just want to vibe, groove, chill... Jisoo's flower fixes it for me. Jisoo's voice just gets me hooked. It's different.
