The sudden ending, as confirmed by the band, is both the bridge to part 2, and also an allegory of the suddenness of death. One moment, there's life, then the next, there's silence.

About understanding Will, if you listen to it once with the lyrics, you’ll understand what he’s saying from then on. He actually pronounciates the lyrics very well, you just have to work around the vocal fry a little bit 😂 he said in an interview he actually had to learn to make words nastier for it to fit the vibe of Lorna lmao I think it suddenly ended because it’s Pain Remains 1 and then it’s going to continue into Pain Remains 2 when the album drops Also, I just wanted to mention that Austin, the drummer, has been recording and playing on tour with a slipped disk in his back and has been a badass and playing through, what I'm sure is, terrible pain. He is not on their current tour so he could heal up and get some relief, but he was playing the multiple tours before this current one like a trouper. This whole group is phenomenal and they are only getting better and better 🖤
@MasterIceyy2 жыл бұрын
As someone who started screaming about a year ago because of Will, I have no idea how the fuck he actually keeps his pronunciation so clear and tight for just about every word. It's even more incredible when you consider that Deathcore really has no need for clear lyrics and vocals but the fact he has refined it so well shows how incredible of a vocalist he is

Captivate me Become my escape I can't look away You were my everything If the past is just dust Then the future could be our dream If all we have is now, this eternity Ignite my satisfaction, engulf me We're dancing like flames, flickering in the night We sway in time with the wind before melting away You're far from my reach but not far out of sight You know the way to my heart but you just play the strings again Flicker like shadows dancing beyond the flame Captivate, hypnotized by the fire in her eyes You took me by surprise And then you disappeared in the blink of an eye Pull me into the pyre Engulf me in flames Captivate me, eidolon, gravity Magnetic, pull me toward my ecstasy We're dancing like flames, flickering in the night We sway in time with the wind before melting away You're far from my reach but not far out of sight You know the way to my heart but you just play the strings again Flicker like shadows dancing beyond the flames Enchanting, mesmerized Take what is left of my life A wrinkle in time Where did you go? A wrinkle in time Take what is left of my life Before you go, show me what it's like to finally know The face behind the silhouette In this world I made to be infinite But within the expanse, I finally see A world without you isn't meant for me Where do you go when I close my eyes? What do you see looking back at me? Am I just a ghost just like you, caught between the Seams of two intertwining melodies?

1. Kyle looked like he was seizing almost while moving his head to the drums (much love) - made me smile 2. It looked like Kyle was starting to tear up towards the end then Eric paused it right at the most emotional part. I get it, it's part of reacting, but I have enjoyed the comradery of reactors shedding tears with the intense emotion this song and cinematography evoke from even the exterior-based tough reactors. So a suggestion on future reactions, maybe don't pause during an emotional moment so it doesn't interrupt the reactionary moment. ❤️ Thanks guys. I love watching your reactions!

i think that lorna shore is very melodic in their songs. if you want a very melodic one, react to "and i return to nothingness". plus: its not just about the lyrics that make me feel a song. the whole atmoshpere in this one is just so emotional and the desperation you feel (even if you dont understand every word he sings) gives me chills. one of my fave bands ever, also the older stuff. also this will be a trilogy, so the ending may be smooth into the second part, when you listen it on the album. and it is as sudden as death itself.
@MidnighTokr2 жыл бұрын
You can't throw away the sudden ending. From what I got someone died, and a sudden ending without resolution in music is generally relating to the same possibility in life. Like you said, it was an artistic choice.
