You are able to do two and three, but the outcome in the end - You must warn and give a link for suicide helping phone. It's not gonna end well, Sis, No cleaning katharsis coming. The mentality "boys don't cry, there are one's who has it much worse etc.) sugarcoating is stripped off from this trilogy...

God damn as a guy I cried like a baby. First deathcore band to make me uncontrollably cry. Loved this reaction, it's literally exactly how I felt . "A world without you wasn't meant for me" is where I just couldn't hold it anymore. 2 & 3 will make you 😭 . I sure did. Lol

TankTheTech put it perfectly: It doesn't matter if you're a guy or a girl, we're all humans. We all have emotions. It's complete bullshit that society thinks all men have to be/act tough, that it's a part of our "masculinity". Such bullshit. You can't just bottle your emotions up like that, or else you'll go completely insane. It is NOT healthy.

Yeah, it's a very good double. On one hand it just cuts off right as the next song starts, but it was also a perfect way to show that symbolism of life being cut short.

The guitar solo is the layup... and then the ending of this damn song is the tearful slam dunk. As a 42 year old man and a lifelong Metalhead, this song at the very LEAST makes me tear up a bit, if not cry. "Within the expanse I finally see, a world without you isn't meant for me." Is such a brutal line.

LOVED your reaction. There's been many reactors that have cried. You're not the only one. But I just loved watching how they got you because you caught the feels at every moment you could. Plus, I think a lot of reactors (naturally) try to hold it in a little, but your authentic reaction was great. Can't wait to see you do parts 2 & 3.

None of what just happened is weakness, as a man who is blue color and works in the mud for a living and grinds metal and also listens to emo all day and has been desensitized by all of it I wept open tears, this song is just emotive. It's artistry. It romance. It loss.

As someone who was into the deathcore scene since he was 12-13 I listened to old suicide silence white chapel and the achia strain Lorna shore was something else a bunch of my musical influence came from bands as such and I wore a EP and working in a death metal LP called echos of dispair and when I’m able to get a laptop that’s when I go crazy and drop a couple albums before even having enough to fund it I had a deathcore band and no other bands was looking for guitarist in North Carolina so I was going to do my damn thing either way

I'm a 41-year-old man, everytime I hear "a world without you wasn't meant for me" I think about my wife and the tears come and she's not even dead. Every. Time. Crying isn't weakness, it's a healthy way to express and release emotions. And anyone who says "real men don't cry" are contributing to male suicide and mental health issues.

Men feel it for sure! The problem is that most men feel that the weight of that armor/tough skin is weighing them down to let those feelings flow freely without restrictions in an emotional space! Men are often told to be strong and not show weakness. But to show weakness is for me how you show strength! One of the hardest things to show is your absolute low point. Where the armor is ripped apart! Do you men agree?
@tankspade1332 Жыл бұрын
You mentioned this being a deathcore video and I think that's apart of the key of it being so emotional. In movies and media they've always captured the heart break, the tears, the breaking apart. But they never capture the rage that comes along with it. The pure revolt at the situation completely out of control where the smallest thought in the back of our heads most of us stem back just says, "Burn it down. Destroy it all rather than fee like this."
@b8w2 жыл бұрын
Worry not, people of every type have had this song and the trilogy as a whole invoke all sorts of emotions. Besides, I think that's a great achievement of the band to be able to call forth such powerful emotions with their brand of musical storytelling. No shame in tears or emotion with music, I think it's the greatest compliment you could give a musician.
