0:48 this is actually the reason the local airforce base by me hires hawkers and other professional birds. I occasionally see and hear em flying around, scaring all the other birds out of the flight zone. Seen thousands of C130s and Globemasters take off, yet never seen a bird hit yet. They work WELL.

0:48 the birds probably did see but didn't change course because certain species of birds can be pretty stupid (hence the term "bird brain") and there have been an incredible amount of reported occurrences of birds doing things along those lines such as running into power lines, windows, planes, etc.
