The CW made the same mistake by introducing time travel to early. Now if he sees the dangers of time travel we have to assume he will never do it again even if iteans saving the JL. BvS was the beginning of the end when they shoehorned Batman and Wonder Woman into the 2nd Superman movie. They should have just either made MoS 2 or made a solo Batfleck movie and took the time to follow the MCU model leading up an eventual JL film, but nope they rushed it. It wasn't "Superman 2nd movie".. the movie is literally called "Batman Vs Superman". The difference between Marvel and DC is that Marvel HAD to build up, DC didn't. No one knew who CA, IM, Thor, and BW etc were... everyone knew who Superman and Batman were. No one needs to follow the "MCU Formula" when MCU themselves don't understand their own characters, they have 22+ movies plus 4 shows and wasted each characters for cheap laughs and de-powered them tremendously. The idea of heroes already being establish is better then each hero popping up 1 day at a time.

As an OG member of the Snyder Cut movie, no one thought there was a theater ready version of the Snyder Cut. Fact remained there was a fully filmed, edited version & a completed score with VFX that needed to be done. And we all knew that.

I thought some of the comedic scenes that were kept in the Snyder Cut were better performed in the Whedon cut. I like the idea of Diana become Queen of the Amazons, and sticking with it. Unlike Thor becoming King and then still not knowing who he is 20 some films later. And I've always hated the idea of Bruce dating Lois. Just seems weird.

Spot on about Jesse Eisenberg being Luthor, such an odd choice. I said that exact thing to my wife while we were watching it "he should have been the Riddler" really weird vibe and that's just not Luthor. Artistic license and all that and do you, take the character in new directions, but I haven't seen any version of Luthor that has been like that, even young Alexander was much more calm and collected. The jittery baskety case vibe, if that's not what that was it's how it looked, was not meant for that role imo.

Zacks original idea was to have Superman get cuckd on by Batman just like how Nightwing found out how Bruce impregnated Barbara just when he was trying to renew their relationship. Now apparantly The supposed plan is to have evil superman(how fucking original) with Snyder's reason being he wanted to take Superman from one extreme to the other, to break his morality and I guess make Superman a more interesting character by giving him this character arch? But what character arc? In the leaked plot, evil Superman was going to disappear when Flash runs back to alter the time line. Superman was going to have no memories of evil Superman. Superman was never going to meet evil Superman. That's not a character arc. Superman learns nothing. It's like having a nightmare were you're a bad guy and waking up with no memory of that dream you had. Not only does it not matter because it's not reality (it's a dream), but it doesn't even effect your view of yourself or the world because you don't remember it, you don't confront it. The Knightmare timeline would be fine as an elseworld story, but in a Justice League trilogy it baffles me that it was a plot point. Why waste so much screen time for a plot that gets erased without a trace? Maybe Snyder would have fixed it so Superman remembers, but who knows. Also, this isn't Superman being evil, he was just brainwashed against his will and saved through presumably no effort of his own. No lessons learned and no aspects of his character fleshed out, no agency. Just a complete waste of time Following all this garbage we would have had an ending where Clark and Lois do have a child to themselves but apparantly this child for some reason has no powers and will be named Bruce simply because Batman makes the ultimate sacrifice (again how original) and he will grow up to become the next batman. They name their child after the same person who tried to kill clark and who zack wanted to cuck clark with and they want their child to go down the exact same road of insanity as this person. Not only that but this completely undermines the entire plot points of man of steel. That through the codex, the kryptonian race would continue through clark, so the child they have not only should have powers but be based off the real current child of superman and lois, Jon Kent. Otherwise this whole bull of being the bridge between two worlds was hollow plot device that had no real value or weight. To hell with Bruce Kent. If Zack wishes to continue his vision, he needs to seriously reevaluate how he is handling some of these characters and ideas he is planning, Superman especially. Otherwise id largely prefer a full on reboot with better handling of the characters and less focus favoritism for batman.

It would have been good if you guys researched the story behind these Story boards. I'll try to give the bulletpoints. 1) These Storyboards were written just after the principle photography of BvS in 2015 before post production for BvS even started. 2) That is penned by Geoff Johns and is his hand writing. 3) These storyboards were in Snyder's open office in the WB lot. 4) Once it was written, Jim Lee, in the middle of the night thought it would be cool to have some drawings of it, and drew it as a surprise for Snyder. 5) This was used as a pitch for the overall arc of the individual movies to have setups for the eventual JL2/3 6) These stories were constantly evolving and the crazier parts of the story was removed early on like the Bruce/Lois relationship 7) The reason you are seeing it in frames is because AT&T had an exhibition where they displayed all these storyboards along with other props for the exhibition and that is where the public has gotten the pictures for the storyboards, even though Kevin Smith and even Snyder had spoken about these storyboards in the past, but the public saw these storyboards because of the exhibition. 8) Snyder has new storyboards of what JL2/3 would be in line with ZSJL and won't release it to the public anytime soon, and might want to release it in some form if he doesn't get the chance to make the movies, maybe in comic form.

This is all so strange to me the disaster earth 5 years times jump. If this was the vision from the start. The MCU has similarity in the fact of the villain winning and cutting to the future. Did Joss tamper with JL and took the ideas and got them impaneled to Marvel. But yea I know the 5 year trop has always been, but it’s not only that it’s pieces that seem similar. OMG... thank you for correcting Benny on "Desaad". My one complaint with all the comic read-thru vids is that Benny will confidently mispronounce things. If you encounter a word you don't know.... PLEASE start taking the time to look up the phonetic pronunciation. It is like a mental record scratch every time. Beyond that , love your content guys.

And also heard that Ben affleck's last batman apperance will more likely be in Flash movie and that movie is also going to reboot dceu just like it did in comics. And Henry Cavil's superman is probably going to be killed in Black Adam and those sources also claimed that now Batgirl and supergirl will appear in DCEU than these two. take these with some salt but those sources also claimed that Snydercut of Justice League was also happening before it was teased.

I recently came across this channel and have very much enjoyed most of your content. When I saw this I was pretty excited. I couldn't imagine a better way to enjoy this array of information, that is until the two asshats on the right began interrupting and excreting poor attempts at humor for the next hour.
