"We Refugees" by Hannah Arendt

Hannah Arendt was among the defining philosophers of the 20th century. CHF brings her work to life in a staged reading of her essay “We Refugees.” Grounded in her own experience as a German Jew in America, Arendt challenges us to imagine the world from an immigrant’s perspective. @@nouriman9464 This is incorrect. We Refugees was published by Arendt in 1943, in the Menorah Journal. It is a reflection that is very much near to the experience of her arrival in New York, while escaping from Europe, in 1941.
