@ls-metro9362 it was messing with the performance of the game too much. Not sure whether it was about it coming to mobile or if it was also an issue on PC. Might have also been an expense they didn't want to pay for anymore

Mobile players kept complaining about animations making the game laggy. Since they strive for maximum revenue across all platforms, they decided to stop 3D animations so game runs smoothly on all platforms without issue, even if since then, A LOT of PC players have expressed their regret at the lack of animations. (Cant recall when it stopped, 3 colors lands of New Capenna still have a bit of animation, so probably after that. Or way before, I genuinly can't remember)

ive been trying to make this deck work in historic for so long lol. a little cheese is always fun as all get out! used to run them in my Jenara Asura of War deck before i changed it to a Vultron deck. super fun and i LOVE it!

Ohhhh LandTax. One of the most fun decks was the Lands Edge decks back in the day. What’s fun is that there are 2 Lands Edge cards on Arena. One of them a Battle for Kaldheim. (I think that’s the name). LVD what do you think of the new Collected Company?? You only get one cresture but you conjure a duplicate into hand and it goes into play as an Offspring. I like it. I know it’s alchemy but it’s fun design space.

Pretty sure you lose that game if you didn't top-deck The Book of Exalted Deeds. Based on what you both tossed, I'd say they came out better from the slow-roll Land Tax.

It's so dumb that they don't have "partner with" Instead of Get Lost, wouldn't Stroke of Midnight be better? It gets rid of any non- land permanent Edit: in the land tax match against someone with my name, you should have played the mutavault. It would have saved you 11 damage and bought you time. You could have even swung with it while waiting for the 2 mana artifact.

@@LegenVD True, but locking yourself to 1 mana when you don't have any 1 mana plays and the opponent does put you at a huge disadvantage. Especially once you started discarding lots of really good cards. You did get lucky though with the Book though. But also, why don't you like Stroke of Midnight instead of Get Lost?
