We Remodeled this Bathroom Ourselves

This was a big project for us! We did everything ourselves including the design, demo, custom built vanity, electrical, heated floor install, tile install, custom shower pan (also heated!), and more. We spent approximately $8,125 on materials & tools, and we did not hire out any of the jobs. We approximate this is at least a $30K luxury primary (master) bathroom remodel if we would have hired a contractor.
The design of the bathroom is dark and moody yet bright and modern. The colors, materials, and trim match the rest of the house which has a industrial farmhouse vibe with hints of minimalism and Scandinavian design décor.
Permits were pulled for both plumbing & electrical. We passed :)

At seventy-one years old I think I have got all the house renovation and woodwork I need but please keep on putting the videos out as current ideas and regulations change all the time and it is good to keep my mind up to date. Only one thing you need to update and that is your response to your cat, having a cat myself I can tell you from experience they only need twenty-four hours a day of your and your wife’s attention to make sure it feels well kept.

Lots of nice work! I'm always curious about clear-glass showers: don't they show every water spot you miss while squeegeeing and wiping them down (every time you use them)? I may be too lazy for that.

There is a coating on the glass that is supposed to minimize water spots. Time will tell if it works.

How’s the floor heating system? Is it 240v ?

We love the heated floor. I wouldn't put in another tile bathroom without it. It runs on 120v 15A dedicated circuit.
