Hello Everyone!
This was our VERY FIRST TIME at Universal’s Volcano Bay!🏝 We requested Cabana 6C to celebrate my mom’s birthday & we share our cabana & this day with you all. This vlog is a bit different, because we aren’t allowed to vlog on most of the slides, but we are able to use them in the lazy river & wave pool moments. This was also our first time using our GoPro, so the GoPro footage may look different than others. (Thankful for Kyle for picking up the mini SD card from the Cabana Bay Resort gift shop this morning to have this opportunity!)
We also use our TapuTapu, which is the Volcano Bay equivalent to Disney’s MagicBand system, except it’s a bit different. Kyle braved the Body Plunge Slide down the Volcano. We explored the park & picked up some lunch that we thought we couldn’t order through our cabana attendant. But he told us to let him do the work next time! After lunch, we went into the “lazy river” called the Kopiko Wai, which wasn’t all too lazy at all, & for the record, you still get pretty wet.🌊
We were super lucky to have our TM cabana attendant Nick with us today, & he even gave my mom a birthday surprise! How did he know that I love a good lava cake?! Enjoying a lava cake next to a volcano… definitely a peak moment for us.🌋
We explore the inside of the volcano, Kyle rides OhNo & OhYah, & fortunately for me… I get some good photos while the wave pool was cleared out for a moment! My day was totally made.😎
Kyle & I attempt to pick up a Waturi Fusion ice cream cone, which is rainbow swirled ice cream, hence my matching rainbow dress… But the machine was broken down. This was a rookie move! If you’re looking to try the Waturi Fusion on your Volcano Bay day, make sure to try it early in the day.🌈🍦
After this we bring you guys along with us to the TeAwa the Fearless River “the crazy river”… & this is the best way to spend Volcano Bay in my opinion. It is more intense than it looks & it is SO MUCH FUN. My personal favorite attraction at Universal’s Volcano Bay.
Nick gives us a quick shoutout to end our vlog before we say goodbye to Cabana 6C, which I promise is the best in all of the park. Kyle & I enjoy the wave pool to end our evening & we had so much fun in there. The sun was setting, the crowds were low, & the vibes were immaculate.
We return our TapuTapus as we head back to our room right next door at the Cabana Bay Resort.
We will be definitely be back, Volcano Bay.🌋🏝
Also, the cabanas are the best way to spend your day here, especially if you have the money to do so! It is pretty pricey, and the prices change dependent on the time of year, & ours was about $800. If you are able to split the cost, or if you are celebrating a special occasion, I would consider it worth it! However, food & drinks are NOT included. Just a heads up!

Hello!😊 In my experience, we booked the cabana & the day before our Volcano Bay day, we received a confirmation phone call. In this phone call we put in the request for this specific cabana & said it was for a birthday celebration. They said they would do their best to accomodate, but couldn’t guarantee. Fortunately when we got there it worked out first us! So I would say it never hurts to put in the request.🏝️

We just got back home and rented a cabana as well on our Volcano Bay day. Definitely a splurge but a fun one!!!

I’ve been to universal 3 times and I’ve always wanted to go to Volcano Bay, but I haven’t gotten around to it! After seeing this I’ll definitely think about renting a cabana!

Volcano Bay is such a dream, I totally recommend visiting on your next UO vacation!☺️🌋🏝️ & The cabana was definitely a splurge for us, but it was the perfect way to celebrate!

Called in January when reserving our vacation this year and it was like 650 for these upper cabanas for trips in April. Big ticket for a one day thing!

that sounds about right, it was definitely a splurge for us to celebrate a birthday & experience the park for the first time! it is definitely not an “everytime” kind of expense for us, but happy we got to experience it 🌋🏝️✨
