I notice you leave the record in suction mode for quite a time. VPI recommends only two round turns. Have you noticed a difference by doing a longer suction cycle? I do notice in your video that the suction tubes continue to pick up liquid during the whole time.

I have noticed a difference, particularly with the pure water rinse. While two revolutions will pull up the liquid, I find the record is much dryer following several turns. Plus, those strips on each side of the wand's slit help to clean as well.

Bad sound from a record club pressing? Can't say I'm surprised. I could see it was pressed by Specialty Records using Europadisk metalwork-in of itself strange seeing how many other labels Columbia pressed for, including Elektra, but I digress-but maybe the stampers were worn out at that point. They figured they'd squeeze a few record club editions out of them before chucking them. Then again, it's an early 80s pressing. Maybe a "state-of-the-art" digital master? And be careful acknowledging that mould-release agent is in fact a concept in the record world. Some guy who works at "a pressing plant" will accuse you of creating the concept yourself just to insult him personally.

You compare this to two others that you liked, but I couldn't make out either name. Can you please write them in a reply. Thanks!

L'Art du Son and AIVS #15. AIVS stands for Audio Intelligence Vinyl Solutions. It's a mix of RCF and an enzymatic formula. L'Art du Son is straight RCF. Both very good. Thanks for watching!

@@LetsCleanaRecord Thanks! If you could just use one of these 3 which would you choose?

@@ediblehorse If was cleaning mostly new or recently released records, L'Art du Son. If the focus was old records from the 50s and 60s, I'd go with AIVS #15 for the enzymatic benefit.
