We saved Christmas! Well at least out Christmas tree:) It took only 3 days, 3 trips to the store and 3,300 lights but its up and we love it!

The public schools here in Tomah Wisconsin have gone virtual for the week after Thanksgiving break and as my grandson goes to the Catholic grade school and they follow the schedule of the public schools he’s homeschooling also this week. Which means Grandma gets to be teacher because I babysit because mom and dad work. But we have had a blast so far! And tomarrow I decided to throw in a special fun project of building a very small and easy can’t Christmas tree with my kindergartner grandson - his name is Royal which was his Grandpa Jim’s middle name. And we have some fun blinking light headbands and some bobbly Santa headbands to wear to bring on all the fun festive feels! Bless you all this season 🎄!

My kids are now gone too so I bought one that is 3.5 feet pre-lit white that sits in the cutest little wooden basket and it sits right next to my fireplace. I love when the lights are off when I am watching tv and there is my beautiful tiny lit tree

Yes prelit trees suck ugh I bought a 7.5 ft pencil tree 8 yrs ago and the lights quit 😑 so I learned my lesson never again.

my mom bought a tree 4ft and it had fiber optics and then someother thing that plugged in and it was so gorgeous and was so pretty and the rainbow colors just glowed never took a picture of it i loved gazing at itafter 10 yrs it wore out from kmart it really was notthat expensive like they are now i think it had a hidden glow wheel but they get hot and wornout and in the fabric store they would have panels that you purchaceand sewup it was a treeskirt that was red and had horses and sleighs on it and she sewed red lace on it and bells onhorses littlletiny bells and we also had stockings also and they were qulted a really pretty
