WE SAW DOLLY at Dollywood's 2023 Opening Weekend! Parade, Live Music, Rides, Cinnamon Bread & More!

Join us for the opening weekend of Dollywood theme park for their 2023 season! We went to the season passholder preview day on Dollywood's grand opening weekend and got to see Dolly Parton herself in a special opening weekend parade, and bring you along for the whole experience - lots of live music, park updates, new Big Bear Mountain and I Will Always Love you festival merchandise, rides and good times!! We also enjoy some favorites like Dollywood's famous cinnamon bread from the Grist Mill, a ride on the Dollywood Express train where we get some incredible views of the brand new Big Bear Mountain coaster currently being built, and they announce the opening month for it, we enjoy some favorite rides and have a wonderful time being there as Dollywood opens for the 2023 season and bringing you along to share lots of park updates and gorgeous weather!

I got to see Dolly in concert probably 10 yrs ago now. 3rd row, center stage. I cried most of the show. Shes very intimate with her music and all she did was sit and play her instruments, which she plays alot of them including her nails, and sing. Beautiful lady. Her and Loretta will always be my favorite.

Kay and I are so in awe of you and Sam. You seem to bring the weather with you from Florida everytime you visit Dollywood. The last time Kay and I were there we had to purchase gloves and ear muffs etc. It seems like your ENTHUSIASM brings happiness and warmth all the way to the Smoky Mountains. It's so crazy because we always hope we'll get ONE cold visit to Dollywood, but it doesn't happen!! It's always warm, even when the weather calls for cold! Not that I want it to be cold, but ya know, just one cold visit.

We looooove train whistles! I also love cruise ship horns haha. But train whistles are like music to our ears and I wanted to share the full thing a few times for our fellow train lovers. Klondike Katie’s whistle gives me goosebumps!!

To be honest during one of your road trip blogs to Dollywood and other destinations it peaked our curiosity So my family we decided to do a road trip ourselves so off we went for 20 days Rock city Georgia, North Carolina friends. Maryland Family, Hershey park Hershey PA ,Columbus Zoo and Aquarium Ohio, Dollywood Tenn, and end our trip in Walt Disney World. Dollywood was our favorite place more peaceful than Disney The kettlecorn, Cinn-bread and fried green tomatoes got us hooked. Thank you for providing us with the information needed in making our trip as my daughter would say the best trip ever..

Great first major stop on your road trip at Dollywood! It has to be one of the most beautiful theme parks out there! I’m sure it’s setting helps, nestled up in the hills and woodlands, but the landscaping, theming, and just the way it all flows together makes it such an incredible place. You sure packed a lot into one day and definitely seeing Dolly herself in person was most assuredly the highlight. The new rollercoaster looks like it’ll be a lot of fun! Hi, so happy for y'all to see Dolly in person for a bit. Dolly is amazing. My Mom raised listening to Dolly music and watching her movies. We live in West TN, but we only drove to Dollywood once when I was 7 years old, so I don't remember much. I always wanted go back, but not alone, and no one I know wants to go, so maybe in the far future I'll go alone with my Service Dog Keetah. For now we go back to Disney World next year, money saving, and for the first time to Universal. Which we can't wait to do. Anyway, so happy for y'all to see Dolly.
