Thanks for the vid. Very nice folder. Would love one! Re the scales, another option might be the ‘Lyman electronic trigger gauge ’. (It’s for measuring the pull of gun triggers surprisingly !) £60 ish quid. Lots of vids on YT.

Thanks for having that spring strength chart there, super useful. Where does the Manly wasp fit in on there? I got one a couple of days ago, but it's going back due to the blade sitting too high meaning I can catch a finger on it when I pull it out of my pocket.

Cheers! I might have to buy a 3rd Wasp just to chuck on the chart, I've modded both of mine to lose all the stops since 3 stops doesn't really suit my tastes, if I get a spare bit of cash again, I'll splash and chuck it on there for reference, wish I'd done this from the start!

@@UKLegalCarryKnives Hah, yeah I knew you modded one of them, thought you probably had one in stock config still :P No worries. I guess it would rate as being pretty strong on that chart? I've ordered a UKPK FRN drop point in the meantime, is the UKPK on the chart the G10 Heinnie? I've heard the FRN model has a bit lighter spring weight. Thanks.

@@GurtTarctor Funny story, I modded the first then bought a second as a reference for vids, then a viewer asked how to mod so I just used the second to make the video! It was among the most difficult to open I had encountered, it'd probably be king on that chart tbh. You are correct, it is indeed the G10 UKPK, I'd agree with that opinion although it is a minor difference.

If these folding knife manufacturers are going to venture into slip joints they better realize what buyers of these knives want and expect, not a #2 walk and talk. If you want to experience a bad ass walk and talk try buying one of the beautiful TwoSun slip joint knives now available in M390, I picked up 2 with that steel for an average of $66 ea., one in bone and one in titanium with the copper overlay both by my favorite designer, WONG, both knifes have a pull of 7 or better and are easy to open due to an enlarged nail nick with plenty of blade exposed. Thanks for the review, I have considered this model but think I will pass after your fine review.
