Need a coffee station right by the door so people walking by and those standing at the bus stop can smell it. Low price/profit on the coffee but you make it up on incidental sales (donuts/cinnamon rolls/candy/gum/etc.) by getting them in the door.

Yup, I didn't really go to any convenience stores in Korea but when I was living in Japan almost every corner there was a 7-11, Lawson's, Family Mart, even two of the same facing opposite side of the road, anyway the ones closest to residential tend to have fruits and fresh produce outside the store to show that they can buy that and all of them have coffee stations that they can quickly fill up and be on their way. She needs more advertising especially around the area so people can see that they can go there after getting off the bus. Her location seems to be closed off from the actual residential area and people would have to go around. I personally would gear towards a coffee station and quick place to heat up and eat ramen, once they get into the store they can buy more stuff. As far as advertising maybe a lot don't know "HachuMart" so maybe adding in some keywords on advertising can have people looking. Also if she checks online advertising for people that google stores and see if shes showing up, many people just google stores/restaurants and check times and reviews and go to which ever they're closest.

Oh, i didn't even think about that! It opened just recently and is decorated with cute things so it wouldn't be unusual for people to think that. She should probably also get more items to sell that fit the cute theme so the customers won't be too confused.

@@bobdole2636 omg the competition is so stiff now. At my place, u can find 15 diff brand bubble tea shop just on one street. Bubble tea attracts young loaded ppl. Location is key. Opening it in office or residential area probably is death sentence. U wan near college universities or shopping malls. But again, most established bubble tea brands now r back by corporation. Its a market hard to penetrate without expecting initial losses just to build yr brand in the market

@@l_ifeefi_l1998 She just needs to get one of those machines that seals the top of the cup with laminate which has her store's logo on it and it will be free advertisement too. She can then give it out complementary with purchases and offer buy one get one free as well. Even if it doesn't make profit initially, the cup and laminate is free advertising when people are holding them or drinking amongst their friends/colleagues.

Don't know the culture or rules in Korea, but my friend's uncle here in Sweden also had new store close by to a bus stop. People were too concentrated on going to the bus stop that they didn't notice his signs outside the store so he put up flyers inside the bus stop and that made him some more customers. Ex. "The bus is here in five minutes and it takes you less than one to buy you a easy breakfast."

A good and cool marketing tactic (in my opinion) is to play a TV with one some of hachu's vids/clips/streams outside of the store! (probably her YT video on what motivated her to build the store, idk i forgot what the title was lol). It would make the customers more interested to know what the store is about and perhaps try to be featured in her streams idk. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The only potential problems would be stream snipers and a possibly high electric bill from a TV that is turned on outside 24/7 ig.

Stream snipers are very welcome! There is actually TV setup for that purpose but I think CEO just forgets or doesnt want to play her clips on that TV.

I think it is possible to scare people only if they visiting shop for the first time and have alternatives. If they know that shop have goods they need and for the price they want - nothing will stop them :)
