I see you are hunting Seal Beach. I have been told that Seal Beach is off limits to metal detecting. Is this true? If so, is there a special permit to hunt Seal Beach?

from what I've heard they have a law they pass that isn't enforced. The main reason is they didn't want people digging big holes and not filling them. I've never had and trouble detecting there and I see other people there all the time. I'm sure they don't mind us collecting all the scrap can pieces everywhere. There's A LOT of it on this beach.
