I hear this two years later since discovering this and realize how much I have learned and grown since then. I am eternally grateful for all the teachers and learning opportunities in my life and finding this song was one of those stepping stones. I have learned to see the lyrics of 'lead in love' in both ways. To take a role of leadership, but manifesting it with love. And in another way, that we can use our lives to lead Love into this world. Thank you MaMuse!

We shall be known by the company we keep by the ones who circle round to tend these fires We shall be known by the ones who sow and reap the seeds of change alive from deep within the earth It is time now It is time now that we thrive It is time we lead ourselves into the well It is time now, and what a time to be alive In this great turning we shall learn to lead in love In this great turning we shall learn to lead in love

The wonderfulness these women dance in, on a "lessor" level could cause one to exclaim "found love" though in "the wild " this wonderfulness is the love that dances in the everything outside of our fears, hate etc that is always arround us ready to gently embrace our cheeks with its loving hands to diliver a kiss to our forehead giving us such levity of heart we can fly , on this level that these women dance in is eternal love remembered. I wonder if their name "Mamuse" -(My Muse) muse defined as person or personified force who is the source of inspiration for a creative artist. is their rendition of aforementionrd or love presonified through themselves.

Where did the inspiration for this song came from ? I always imagine the cathars for some reason from the middle ages who were persecuted by the church. I don't why.

I love love love this song ~ I learned this as an oral tradition when I was living in Eugene, Oregon. I have a question about the line, "lead ourselves into the well." What well is that? The rest of the song flows so beautifully and this line throws me cause I don't understand the reference. When I sing it, I'm using the lyrics, "lead ourselves in the web of life." But very curious what the original lyrics "well" mean to you. Thanks for your beautiful music!
@cacampbell36545 жыл бұрын
Positive Enabler • Channeling the Flow: I associate “the well” with the source of all life - where you go to slake your thirst for that which keeps you alive, that which (hopefully) comes clean and pure from the rivers and lakes deep in the earth, the moistener as in what makes birth flow, spring come, things grow, etc.! 😄

Does anyone know what it means to lead ourselves into the well? It sounds negative actually, as if we go drown ourselves.. And I can’t find any translation..

Luke 11:24-26 Return of an Unclean Spirit 24 “When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and finding none it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ 25 And when it comes, it finds the house swept and put in order. 26 Then it goes and brings seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there. And the last state of that person is worse than the first.” often people get satisfied by the fact that the devil has left them. Family, the devil you are facing is a stubborn devil. The bible says that when the spirit is cast out, it goes to dry places seeking rest, what does this mean? It means that every devil that leaves your life or your body, there is no resting place than you. Here Jesus is teaching us that the devil has to be cast out. We learn from this scripture that every devil that leaves you, will visit you again irrespective of how big your bible is. The reason is because many of us go and open ourselves up to all sorts of things after we have been prayed for. Later on the spirit returns to where it came from (your body). The word return means that I will make a u-turn and go back to a place where I came from. Once the devil goes out, the house is clean, (this means that the devil brings impurity in you. That is why it is important that once the devil leaves, you should fill yourself with holy spirit. He will help you not to go back to your old ways. When evil spirit returns, it brings seven more wicked spirits with him, in other words, your situation becomes worse than it was, this is why some people die.
