It looks nice if it just sits there but feels clunky. Some stuff in the UI is also blurry or low res. Try it to see what I mean

some os are really good when it comes to Ui/UX user interface or user experience, but the problem with these OS is that usualy they fall behind in terms of kernel , they use old kernel for stability or they do not roll regular updates, like zorin OS, tuxedo os, and other deepin etc etc many of these good os have potential but they fail to delivery continuous support when it comes to updates and reliability, also it's from china (depin) that removed the credibility already but its very tempting to use these because they actually thing about frontend the things that reach the user. its a mixed bag reaction for such os.

The full OS - no idea, but i do know and have checked that the Deepin desktop environment does no such thing as sending data. I was running the Deepin desktop on Arch Linux some time ago and it was pretty much safe.

Not sure about the full OS, but i used to run the Deepin desktop on top of other distros like Arch and there was no such thing as privacy invasion or spying as i was monitoring the incoming and outgoing network traffic while i was using the features on the Deepin desktop. The only time when it would connect to the Chinese servers was when opening their built in app store which downloads the apps from their servers, but i had no use of it and never needed to run an outdated app from their store. So no, installing this desktop does not invade privacy. Running the full deepin distro however, I don't know what exactly it does because i've never used it.
