That really is a sweet guitar ! I really like it’s Art Deco 1920’s top of the line look , for me anyways it makes it even better to play some crushing metal riffs on a guitar that looks so fine ! 😄🤟🏻 I’ve always wanted to try/ hear what D’Angelico guitars sound and play like. Thanks for the great Demo it sounds truly amazing! I’ve played for 37 years and I own 13 guitars 🙂 ,( 10 electrics, 2 acoustics, and a Dean Metalman bass) it really is super nice and sounds amazing! I’ve been saying it for months, D’Angelico is probably the most underrated brand imo. Beautiful neck through guitar. Great QC. Decent pickups. They should get far more attention. Great tune

If you haven't tried a D'angelico I would go to guitar center to try it out. It's so bizarrely comfortable. I have Premiere Brighton and I couldn't believe what I was playing. Nice tones for blues and rock, but the neck is made for metal and shred. Felt so good, I had to buy it.

My fave baritone riff? Maybe not my favourite, but the most significant in my guitar journey - 'She's Gone Away' by King's X. After hearing that on a guitar mag cover CD and discovering Ty Tabor was using extended-scale Yamaha Drop 6 guitars, I was inspired to pick up a Yammy RGX-420D6 and start my low-chugs journey a bit over 20 years ago. Just bought baritone #5 this week in fact (Harley Benton Amarok bari. It ama-rocks! *rimshot*).

Near the end of Twisted Sister's touring, Eddie Ojeda had a D'Angelico SD custom-built by them with a Floyd and Sustainiac. Shame they went nowhere with it besides that one-off

While I’ve never tried a D’Angelico, I’ve always been partial to the aesthetics. Something about the headstock and tuner shape, the hard edges, I dig it but just never found one in person to try out. Might be a good opportunity to finally get my hands on one, and I feel like this would be a great first try lol. May just have to pick one of these up either way because this Atlantic is sick. Wish they’d have made one in white or some type of bright red (Ferrari status lol), but the black is definitely more appealing than the natural variant. I don’t know many baritone riffs that I can readily think of, but I’ve always been a fan of Ben Burnley’s work. Good review as always, Hunter!

I bought this guitar almost a year ago by now when it first came out and this guitar is insanely good. Not only does it look great and sound great, its playability is unmatched. I think it comes stock with .12/.13 strings but it plays smoother than some of my standard range guitars. Besides that the guitar is ridiculously versatile. Locking tuners, push pull coil splits for both humbuckers and ridiculous resonance. One of my favourite things to play on this guitar is just going crazy with E minor chords because the guitar almost seems to naturally distort even unplugged with those chords. Can’t recommend it enough!

My Premier Bedford Sh absolutely rips and has dethroned my other guitars for everything in D standard. Mini humbucker with two single coils cover everything amazingly and the neck, the absolute perfect neck.
