Your best video so far in my opinion. I’ve been there with jobs like that bloody Transit. We need to know when to hold and when to fold don’t we?……

Don't need customer like that. Bill him for your time and send him on his way and never have him back. Plenty of good customers out there. If there is a hint of nonsense with them price high .Always the sort that want it cheap for a top job and then still not happy . Love your channel 👍

great video more interesting as you showed more of the actual work your doing .Remember a lot of your viewers will be self taught so it would be even more interesting to see some of the proceses in detail even the basic stuff like soldering two wires together the bob way

Over the years you get a feeling for a flakey Customer. I've had so many since Covid times. I'm seriously considering deposits for MOT tests and for anything I buy in. Some people just give you a bad feeling. And ultimately waste your time and booking slots
@rmsdiagnostics2 ай бұрын
one tip for the mots is at the weekend check all the cars you have booked in online and see if has a fresh mot, if it has you know it’s not coming

Great channel and content, am watching all ur wonderful videos, may i ask what deposit you request when booking and i presume its non returnable if they done show? Also what electrical drawing supplier do you use, the diagrams on the audi accelerator looked clear and concise the best ones ive used is HGS data Alldata i find hard to navigate and the drawings are hard to find 🙄 Thanks you for all the hard work in bringing us this great content Kind regards Jay
@rmsdiagnostics40 минут бұрын
all data is sometimes hard to navigate but you get used to it,lucky being workshop based we can request the correct information
@rmsdiagnostics39 минут бұрын
we take a 2 hours deposit,if things go bad we can sort something out as in rebooking etc, but it costs out most of the people that want to take a slot and then keep phoning about,as they are not sure if it will be returned

You don’t want customers like that anyway, if you did do work for him he’d probably be a pain in the butt. Std fair is take a deposit no exceptions. If they ask way you need a deposit you simply say I need to order YOUR parts, your not a bank. And if they don’t want to pay they have a hidden agenda.

There is a long one once I click to start your content, then your channel is interrupted with long x 2adds . They are not going to place adds if it’s not worth their time …Clearly they can see you are getting new subscribers so they fell your content is showing interest… it’s going to be a long hall however it will be worth it in the end. I have been watch the Car Wizard , a guy who like you started small with his wife doing the recording plus all the IT work to show his content . Now his wife has given up her teaching job in the USA to concentrate purely on his channel . Dip in to his channel and have a look, like you he’s very and experienced with fixing cars . People bring their car to him from all over USA . He doesn’t rip people off, like you he save his customers money if he can by taking things apart to fix them etc

@@rmsdiagnostics Sorry for the late reply, only just read this . I’m a retired Photographer in London . I have move to Swindon wilts in the last few years. I have always love cars , but never could fix them . Electric faults can be so hard to find, this is why I like your channel . You have to think outside the box dealing with electric faults plus use some good new tech which must help .. I always love sports cars, I was blessed with owning an 911 back in the day, until I had two slips discs , so the car had to go lol ..
