I'm so glad you got to go to Billund! We had a blast when we went (and, um... I may have suggested it a couple times). The Lego House was amazing. Those red bricks coming out of that machine? There's a purpose! A mathematician discovered you could make over 900 million configurations with 6 8-dot bricks. When you scan your wristband, you get assigned one that is YOUR configuration, forever! Such a cool souvenir. If you go again, I would highly suggest staying at the Legoland Holiday Village. It was more affordable for us than the hotels. And there are animals there!

Just a few years ago for Christmas I received a Lego lighthouse set. And just like that, my childhood affinity for these bricks was reborn. ( I also love lighthouses). I should say I'm in my 50's. That same spark would've been relit if I had watched this video back then. The Lego restaurant ..how they prepared the food and took the orders etc....I mean really...absolutely mind blowing. And speaking of gifts, as I've mentioned before, you guys are that to us. No matter the time of year.

If you ever want to do it again, stay in Lalandia just across the street. Way cheaper, but on top there is free access to an entire indoor waterpark and indoor playground. You book a house with kitchen and multiple rooms, and you can often get two nights for the price of one, at legoland is like 300 meters away 😊

@yourownsetofwingsАй бұрын
Ah really that's interesting! Do you know when the season opens? For spring?
@Mike-zx1kxАй бұрын
@@yourownsetofwings I think it´s open yearly from March to end of October. There are many things to visit in the area in general, so if travelling with children I personally would stay in the area and watch the weather forecast and go to Legoland when they do not promise rain, to get a perfect family day. So many things to see while walking around, that can be missed or rushed if it rains. Legoland and Lego house are two different things and an entire day easily can be used at Lego house, so if weather is bad-ish then go to Lego house on that day.

I hope you will return to Denmark again, and hopefully visit Fårup Sommerland, which is one of the best amusement parks with great rollercoaster rides and other activities for the whole family. I am sure if you visit there you will set high standards for how amusement parks should be. Also visit the island Bornholm it's closer to Sweden, but the Island is your your cup of tea, You can visit historic places and Ekkodalen (yes if you thought ekko means echo you are right), enjoy smoked mackerel, or the largest cone waffles in the country.

i wish they had more wholesome things like that firetruck game in my little mall's "legoland" playgym - it really sucks, and its just feels like a giant ad for pointless action lego movies. i feel the branding has gotten so huge that sometimes its perfect for kids development and doing the right things, and then sometimes its just entertainment without creativity. loved the editing around the mini copenhagen

Just seeing the absolute joy on both Hunter and Koa ( plus Jesse & Stephen ) faces says it all 😂. I could spend ages just looking at all the famous place they built 😊 the park looks amazing 😻 . Maybe one year now that we become Grandparents for the first time / now 2 nd time when they are old enough To enjoy . We always got matching T-shirts on vacations as a kid too I went atleast 1x out of state every summer not all over the world like u guys but there's a lot to see in America alone. Been to Legoland in Florida it was nice but when u first enter u can go left or right left for small children and right for teens and adults is what it looked like anyway. My brother isn't a big ride fan and a couple years younger than me so we went left. It was fun but I only got to go on like 2-3 rides on the left side cuz they were ready to leave 😢 and it was only around 2-3 (we were all hungry and food would of been atleast $100 if not more to get full. (Now a days I see vloggers post food in theme parks somewhat decently priced and I'm like wow 10 years ago it was more than that maybe the same price)
