I just finished watching what you spent your tax on this year. Good, good choice! I just got through getting rid of my credit card debt also. Every single thing we own is paid off now. Our house has been paid off for years and years. I haven't used my credit card for years. I've learned to live without it. Eventually, my only credit card will eventually give up on me and not send me a credit card ever again. They've gotten enough of our money. No more! Interest rates on credit cards are of the amount we used to attribute to loan sharks.

I just recently found you guys on youtube. I am 77 y.o. and my wife will be 70 the 30th of Sept. You guys remind us so much of our journey. We have always felt that hard work and staying focused will get you where you want to be in life. If you were our kids I'd have to tell you how proud we are of you. You are doing well and doing it the right way. Your kids will never forget their upbringing. We are retired and living in Daytona Beach. Congratulations on being debt free! It is difficult for people to accept how toxic debt can be even for those who can maintain it. It is a burden on your life that never seems to let up until it is gone. I am unconvinced by those who say you use it as leverage. I avoid buying anything on credit that decreases in value as a rule.
