What an awesome blog. I dry my flowers in my airfryer. I flatten the flower. Place on top of 2 sheets of paper towels, 2 sheets on top. Remove airflow tray from airfryer, place flowers, replace tray. I do 2min at a yime on 180c. Works well. Ee have lots of Jaccaranda trees in South Australia.

Love the longer videos… and LOVED seeing Courtney in there with you guys!! I know all about taking one day at a time… my 21 yo daughter has BPD, Bi-polar, ADHD, and is on the spectrum… her moods are mostly unpredictable… one day she is running about, having a ball, and the next she can’t get out of bed!! Then a BPD episode leads to uncontrolled behaviour, where she will cut herself and/or put holes in the walls with her forehead… it is the most heartbreaking and frightening experience for a parent to witness, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone!! So, I really mean it when I say how beautiful it is to see Courtney engaging with you both so happily! Sorry, enough of my dribble!! Love you guys. ♥️♥️🇦🇺

My late grandma used heavy books to press flowers, just place the flowers on non stick baking paper and fold the paper and place in the book, she had multiple layers, I actually recently found one that had been in a book for over 30 years...

What does an Australian plug look like? For pot cam, have you looked at the kind of cameras scuba divers use? Those types might be able to hold up to the pressure. Just a thought anyway. The flower hearts Courtney made are so beautiful. Good to see her in the shop, hopefully we'll see her more often making beautiful art. Do they make holiday themed molds? It might be cute to have little Santa Claus and wreaths for Christmas, shamrocks for St Patrick's Day, turkeys for thanksgiving and so on. The bird in the shop was hilarious! Had me ROTF. Waiting for you to do the stuffed bear. I think that will be a very interesting experiment. Fingers crossed it will work.

I love the pocket hugs! I was thinking the baby’s breath hugs, maybe do the first layer, and instead of filling the back, you could take out the first layer put in the second layer then the flowers and lay the already cured layer on the top. Sandwiching the baby’s breath in between the layers. It wouldn’t be flat on either side but should work.

ahhhh Ben and Nicole don't go buying any contraptions for flower drying. All you need is some kitchen towel, and a backing dish. Put a layer of paper towel on the bottom, then the flowers (you can flatten the flowers if you want), then another layer of paper towel. Put in the oven at 100 C for 45 minutes. I have done it and it works like a dream. Also saves money.

I am so glad the air purifyer machine works so good for Nicole. I am glad yall are doing well. Hope you all have a great rest of the weekend!

Hi everyone, I love those hearts Courtney made. She did an amazing job on those. I think you can save the one with the rough back too. Just flip it over and dome the back side with more UV resin. I don't what brand you use but I know the JDiction has a version that is high viscosity (thicker) and it work great for doming due to the high surface tension.

I'm in New Zealand and bought the Lets Resin de bubbler machine about 5 weeks ago. Have been using it daily for last 3 weeks. Absolutely love it, and also bought the 3hr curing machine a real game changer for the home hobbyist. I had to buy reverse plug adaptors for it. Summer is yet to arrive in NZ so I use the 5 min setting twice, once you have set your timer, push the button to start and you must press the dome down that starts the de gassing action. Another great video, always a joy to watch and cant wait to see Courtney having fun making items.

I would totally have taken that Baby's Breath one. I love that flower, and I wouldn't have minded the bumpy back. Perhaps next time using them just use a little less resin in the first fill so there's enough space to do a final flood coat on the back to ensure they're properly contained? Cos I think it was gorgeous. Edit: And I'm loving the longer blogs, not gonna lie. They're fun and easy going watching when I wake up. ☺

I would like to see a (large type) transparent frog with a pale seawater tint. The shop looks terrific, and what excellent creations you two made. The volcanos are fantastic. Now, that's how you organize, Nicole. It's really nice. Courtney's 60s-style dried flower necklace pendants-what do you think, drill a hole at the top and use matching colored rat-tail (satin) cording for around the neck? They are so hippie-style (I was a teenager in the fabulous sixties) and beautiful.

What a wonderful vlog with the family. I'm sure you've probably already unmolded it by now, but the tiny mold that comes with the dragon set is dragon hands and it's really hard not to get bubbles in the fingers. I had a hard time with that mold in general not getting bubbles in all the small spaces. It works a little better if you pinch the mold as best you can after you pour a little resin to coax the bubbles out. I hope you guys have a better go of it than I did.
