I remember when I was 9 and I was looking up to Aimi thinking that I want to be where she is when I am her age. Now at 13 I am looking up to her thinking if she can do this I can do it aswell. It is amazing to see Aimi racing World Cups.

1. Best intro to a Downhill video ever! 2. Fantastic effort from all involved. 3. Aimi you're a very talented young lady and I predict a Bright future for you. I met your dad when he was out repairing one of the trails near Inverness 😉and I bet he's bursting with pride. You're already inspiring my 7yr old daughter!. All the best.

What an epic first episode, I liked how it was focused on Aimi. Here professionalism is astonishing for such a young rider. What a nice way to document a young riders first World Cup, especially cool to see first hand what it’s like for a young women get into the sport, I hope this encourages more girls to see Downhill as sport worth trying. So much need for more competitive women in DH.

A great video that captures the allure of downhill racing. A sport I was fortunate to participate in for a number of years and now happy to watch from the sidelines (although I do still enjoy the occasional bike park session). Considering the junior coverage is so minimal, it's really awesome to see the race from Aimi's perspective. Well done!
@derekadaway63902 жыл бұрын
Yeah we really need to see the juniors race feed as well, would be great. Not sure but hopefully Discovery will enhance and not destroy the racing, the lure of money makes people behave shite sometimes. That said what an inspiring story told well, very relatable, now i just gotta learn to hit that little jump, and get in me head the big jump, just needs a bit more speed, and a bit of butt clenching

Amazing vid, Ami is a superstar, and I think she’s got lucky being with a team that I’m sure will support and nurture her progression. I think Reece and Tahnee have suffered with the pressure that comes with racing, and being given a dream, and then struggling to feel like they are worthy of it almost. They both are totally worth it, but having you guys there for her will hopefully help her to not suffer the mental battles that others have, especially once moving up iout of juniors. Really looking forward to this series.
