brilliant! Can't wait for the next episode. Your vlogs are excellent. In fact the entirety of the DRTV alums are awesome. I think DanC has the raw materials for a new DRTV. You, Kai & WPM are all producing great work, as is Ian Wong. You all need to reconvene, perhaps with Rita and fan-fave Alamby and form a new DRTV, like The Grand Tour was formed out of the ashes of the original Top Gear (I think we all noted the reference there on the TV!). I'd like to see more work in HK just because the light and the city are far more interesting than everywhere in England outside of London. If it has to be part UK, part somewhere-else then that's good, just as long as you do the UK bits between spring and autumn when the light and the foliage is more photogenic. Wishing you all good luck for a successful collaboration in the future.

Just for the record, if you're in England and you want to photograph / film something and someone says "you can't do that here", ask them if you are on private property. Legally, you are allowed to photograph or film anything you like, anywhere you like within the UK as long as you aren't on private property, it isn't a military establishment, and it can't be classed as harassment in any way (like stalking or taking pictures of little kids for no legitimate reason). Restrictions with private property is when you are physically ON the property. Photographing / filming private property from a public area (like a footpath) is okay. Where you were standing appeared to be public property - don't let people push you around if they have no reason to.

Hi Lok. What you were staying in is a 'long home'. that means the the walls are made from real logs. No 2X4 boards, as they are known in the West, the walls are only as thick as that log. From what I can tell from your video, the logs were finished on the inside just like normal wood in a house would be. So, the effect isn't as rustic or dramatic as it would be if the logs were rough and unfinished. I'm glad that you got to experience living in one. Now you can say that you've stayed in a log cabin! Well, not really. But kind of.

In quite a lot of places in the West, this is a sought after look, particularly in mountain resorts, farming communities or most of Scandinavia.
