Tip: whenever you go to a hotel make sure the mirrors aren’t two sided, you can do this by putting your nail up to the mirror and if there is a gap it is one sided, if no gap, it’s a two way mirror. That means that someone can watch you through the mirror without you knowing. The longer your nail, the more noticeable it is. And I think you can also use your phone camera with the flash on but I’m not completely sure how that works.

i had similar experience, basically my mother booked a hotel room from this really weird app which i didn't have good feeling about but she said it was alright and the room was cheaper in the that app. i kept telling her to book it from a known app ( like trivago ) but she no. we went to the hotel, was outside the city and looked like it was there 100+ years. i said to her to cancel the booking she again said no, went inside the staff wasn't there. waited 10 minutes then two-three men came. still got a weird feeling, since it was me and my mother only the trip i felt unsafe. they showed us to our room, it was highest level, the hallway looked like those from a mental asylum, we went to our room. it was covered in mould, there were no ammenties nor was there any sunlight. it looked like cell more than hotel room. we demanded for a new room, they refused and my mother debated with them for a few minutes. finnally gave us a "suite" room. it was terrible as well. we got fed up and just left the hotel. later on i checked the reviews, many people said that the staff tried to break into their rooms. thank God we left that hotel edit : hey guys, thanks for the likes!

The EXACT same thing happened to me and my family except we live in a kinda poor country so the hotel was a LOT worse and we had to wait in the bathroom for an hour until the security actually handled the drunk person. Fortunately, though I was only a kid so I didn’t mind how bad it was and that story was funny for years until I realized it’s really scary 😅
