My sister and I stayed there in Feb 2019. We came to the room after midnight and went on the balcony. The giraffes were eating right outside our room. We heard them chewing. It was like it was noon day. I googled and read they only sleep for 5 min snippets. I wish they knew they’d won the giraffe lottery. You live at Disney. No lions. You can sleep more than five minutes. It is an amazing place.

Wow, Spencer, you and Dylan both showed this beautiful site so well; the artwork; outstanding....the flame like lights in the lobby, and the large windows made stained glass-like with the metal, and the open fields beyond, the art;....nice.....I found I liked the themed furniture, but was drawn to the color and depth of the artistic wall bowls....such fun....I like Michael too; understated and fun.....and of course, the animals...and Katy tears....beautiful

As a once a year Disneyland vacation person, it is so weird to see these massive hotels where you can spend time exploring and relaxing. For me at Disneyland it’s always been a 4 day vacation where you get up at 6am start with rope drop and go till midnight. Repeat for next 3 days. So hard to think let’s just relax at the pool today. Maybe I’ll try that next time.

Here’s my “did you know” moment: did you know you can order the bread service by the piece? You can save tons of money (and carb overload) and order only the breads and dipping sauces that you like al a carte. It’s pretty awesome.

thanks for sharing - if I can’t be there I can enjoy it through your videos. We plan on RVing across the Unitd States from BC in Fall 2022 with a 2 week stay at Fort Wilderness id all goes well. Was going to be 2021 this year but will wait for a little longer hoping situation changes and we don’t want to wear masks all day long when we go. It is a costly vacation so definitely worth waiting for everything to be open. Nice to see it through your eyes!
